Hello Liz, I am so happy I stumbled upon your video. I totally agree with everything you say and have felt so strongly about this for years. I live in the UK up in the north and I am surrounded by people with horses who do things the normal way. When I got my first horse he was on a livery yard I just wanted to hang out and play with him but I got constantly laughed at. People always think if you're not doing things their way that you must not know what you're doing. I felt so much pressure that I joined them in the constant riding round in perfect circles and jumping poles but I would cry on a night as my heart wasn't in it and I hated the things I saw on the yard. I felt so alone because I thought there was no one else in the world like me. Eventually I got my own place where I can be with my horses. We are all one big happy family now with Donkeys, Goats and a highland cow called Rosie who loves getting her hair brushed. The girls still laugh as they ride past and see me playing with my horses or playing them music or sitting reading to them but I really don't care because I'm so much happier being with my boys and doing what's in my heart than following the crown just to fit in. You are sooooo right. Most people treat animals like toys or machines. I can't tell how sad this makes me. Animals in generell aren't treated like, if they have feelings. When i see people abusing animals it is so heartbreaking. It is horrible. I have no words for that. Horses should be with their family and friends, and not living in"prison" alone 20 hours a day. I wished every person would have the view and heart like you when it comes to animals. Thumb up!

Ms. Ryan, your words of wisdom are so encouraging. I love being around horses. Like you said, I don't ride anymore, but I just love to be with them. They comfort me and de-stress me. Someday, I hope and would love to come to one of your retreats. Thank you for your wisdom and treating God's precious animals the way you do. Horses so many years ago were treated horribly, forcefully and filled with fear. NOT NO MORE.

I always thought they sleep standing up
Horses who aren't comfortable tend to sleep standing up so that they can run away but when they're happy and comfortable and well loved, they much prefer to lie down.
You'll I never new horses laid down wtfenigma mind blown I thought they stood up sleeping like cows right and other animals I'm shock
They just stand in silence and free your soul of all technical demons which are stealing us vital energy... Incredibile how they gently accept people as they were of their own kind.
