People from the flatlands think they can just rely on GPS lol. Even GPS gets confused with hair pin turns and narrow drives. Many cabin owners and management companies suggest turning GPS off and following directions during daylight hours they sent you.

We took some of those same rides last time we were up there and enjoyed seeing the unseen Gatlinburg!! We stayed on Baskins Creek Rd and just kept on driving and exploring. I could live happily in some of those houses/condos!

Great video, fantastic work. We still prefer cabin rentals that actually look like a cabin. Many of the newer vacation rentals look like they are more at home in a suburban subdivision.

The main strip is very cool and a lot of fun but there is so much more to the area than just the strip. My best trips have been a combination of more off the beaten path things and a few main attractions. I like to explore.

Thanks for sharing my favorite place! We just left heading home today. We visited the goat coaster last night (Saturday) and fed the goats and one goat was a pig and got mad at the other goat for eating and headbutted and chased her. Love seeing the goats, great place to visit. Our school starts Tuesday here in Eastern ky. We are already booked for Fall rod run. Wish I could be there for the Jeep invasion. It's one of my favorites, but hubby has to work.
