I am Caro, a Peruvian visual artist based in Upstate NY. I'm in love with planet earth and nature's intelligence. On this channel I share a bit about my art which is focused on exploring the plant and fungi kingdoms, my journey towards sustainable living, the importance to rest, to have daily routines, to take care of ourselves and our planet in order to stay creative and curious on life.

I love that you made a nice little video of your moon; it's pretty sweet and truthful, too:). I also realized that I need to rest and disconnect during this time, as it affects my mind a lot more than my physical body. Thankfully, I don't have pain anymore, but I can not think straight and feel foggy in my mind with all the super powders and herbs on this Planet:). I hope this will be normalized someday in our society, also acknowledge that women need rest these days. Not just one, but 4, really, at least for me. I can also do this and that, but it differs from the rest of the month, as our energy level drops significantly, and nature tells us to cleanse and slow down. I like talking about this and letting people know when I am on it so they better understand me and my energy level and capability. Especially my Son:), He is so good by now as a 14-year-old teen; he is taking care of me, being extra patient and tolerant of me, and not demeaning at all. I have been sharing this with him since he was little, so He won't take anything personally if my impatience arises or if I feel a little moody and not my natural high-up energy. Men (friends or family) still often tell me, 'I don't need to know about this'. This is an issue we need to address; men should know about this and be supportive and not act like our period doesn't exist. Some European countries, I heard, started to give paid sick days to women on their period days! This should be the minimum, with full support from men and our family. I like your art; it is lovely, and your channel is pretty, informative, and full of spirituality. I am also a YogaGril, and you inspired me to do yoga every day for the next year again :). Life becomes easier. Jobs become less painful. Relationships become more enjoyable. I have been consistently doing yoga for a few years now. I never tried to make yoga poses perfect; I just do them regularly on an empty stomach. I am a happy man now. I am sorry I did not start it earlier in my life.
Caro, thank you so much for this video! I watched your other videos and thought how wonderfully beautiful and sincere you are! I never thought this way about myself and used to harm myself in different ways, and when I saw people like you I thought - oh they had everything right from the very start, from childhood and they have beautiful partners or parents to support them. Always felt miserable thinking that I don’t have that, just need to stand for all myself. Thank you so much for sharing your way and the real story which is behind beautiful today’s Caro! ❤

Have you ever considered filming some yoga practice videos? I know you probably don’t consider yourself an instructor but I’d definitely follow along with you for a morning stretch practice or bedtime meditation practice. 🫶🏻
