  The Diecast ones would be pretty cool, but they would weigh a ton. I don’t have a 1/10 crawler yet. I’ve built all of my courses in the yard to fit the little guys, they’re a good size for the kids. They can’t really break anything with them.

  I was the one that knocked the knockout out using too blunt of an object it just shot down the drain. at least it was me and not some apprentice that figured it would be OK and just left it.🤬

  Hi sorry, I'm trying to buy the bronco too. I wanted to ask but if I take him into the mud with water will something happen?

  The electronics are rated as waterproof. I have had the bronco and defender for about a year and no problems yet. Keep it shallow and it should be good. Afterwards I unplugged everything out of the ECM and wash everything out and leave unplugged until dry, not that you have water sitting on your connections. Sandy grit does get into your differentials and wear out your plastic gears a lot faster. I did the rear end but still need to switch out my front end gears, and the the bushing to sealed bearings. The best thing is anything that does wear out can be replaced.😀

  I’ve had the defender for a year and the bronco for 10 months and go in the water all the time and no problems with any electronics yet. Just keep it shallow and they should be good 😀👍

  These are great little scale crawlers. I picked one up on sale a while back too. Noisy little sucker, but capable once I put some better tires & wheels on, took off the side steps, and installed oil shocks. Also added a heatsink to help out that tiny motor, which gets hot quickly.🔥

  This little crawler has kinda grown on me. At first I wasn’t that impressed in comparison to the Traxxas TRX 4M. Those were the only other crawlers I had, but yeah, the more I use it. It is a fun little machine and can make it most places, I was in the middle of doing some upgrades on my TRX 4M defender and was going to throw the old oil shocks off of that one on the FJ cruiser. Some heavier rims would definitely help it from flipping over so easily…. good to know about the heat sink. I will look into that too.👍

  It was very saucy. It was weird. Never seen hail actually accumulate like a inch and then melted really quick perfect for a quick ATV rip in the yard.

  @apix88 No, it would probably rub hard on your fenders from any torque twist, the rubber is super soft and would bind up in your fender I would go with stock size unless you are putting 59 mm shocks and the high high clearance kit

  @@apix88 they are the linkages that go between your center, skid plate, and your axles, I order Injora ones for my defender, as well as the 53 mm shocks, I haven’t installed them yet to see if it makes it any higher. They have a small bend them .After I installed 43 g brass rims, and those same swamp claw tires on my defender. I am having torque twist issues with tires rubbing on fender even stock size. The shocks I ordering are adjustable with different weight springs to firm up the shocks on the sides that are rubbing. I still have the stock gearing. I kind of like the speed and don’t want to go to crawler gearing, but I might need to. If you look on injoras website they also have a lift kit block that is supposed to lift it up 11 mm. With bigger tires that might be the route to take, those tires do not fit on stock rims either. You also have to get 1 inch Bead lock rims. That’s the problem as soon as you change one thing it creates another problem that you have to fix🤬

  I can’t wait to use them. 🙁While Getting stuck in the mud. A combination of torque twist. The extra weight of all the brass, and a bunch of fine roots were that were in the mud cooked my motor. ordered two more motors, so I have a back up in case it happens again,it was the original from my truck from last year.
