Hello, Can you please give me a suggestion? I'm currently in class 12th and will give cuet 2025. I want to pursue BA Eng Hons from DU and will give the test for English + 4 Domains. Shall I give General Test too? I have not at all prepared for it and I feel like ki agar mene uske liye prepare kiya bhi so mujhe eng and domains ke liye kam time milega. what should i do? please guide!
I am going to tell you two things There are 2 conditions choose between these : 1) See if you want to pursue B.A form Delhi University then I will suggest you to not give General test at any cost it will only waste your time as you have 4 domains so just focus on English language and domains but 2) If you wanna keep backup plan ki agar DU nhi Mila to kya so naam ke liye de dena at least you will eligible for this course in other universities. Maine bhi bs aise de Diya gt bina pdhe taki Allahabad University me eligible rhu but my main focus was DU so maine isiliye GT bs de diya aur focus domain aur English pr rkha.... Eligibility criteria dimak me rkh kr chliye B.a ke courses ke liye sirf 3 domain aur language chahiye to kyu aap 4 domain select kr rhi h any specific reason I mean? Koi problem ho then do comment I will answer your query!
Eng + 4 domains because someone told me ki un 4 domains me se best 3 ke marks hi count honge... example - i have history, pol, geo, legal studies so inme se jo highest 3 marks honge vo count ho jayenge... aisa kisi ne mujhe bataya tha.. Aisa hota hai na?

To ye sare subjects agr aapke h 12th me padh rhe ho aap to go for it! Pr abhi se hi pdhte chlo kyuki jab exams hote h to gap nhi milta do subjects ke beech so you have to be prepared for everything jitna ho ske jldi syllabus cover krke revision pr focus kro deleted chapters bhi aate h CUET me ! Last year the cut off for OBC was 690-700 so I think so you can get may be in second or third round if not in first otherwise you will definitely get south campus but there are chances for North campus too

See there are two eligibility criteria: 1. They will take two domain and language and GT Or 2. Three domain+ language Now, the problem is DU demands to give CUET exam of those subjects that a student chose in Class 12th . So according to this you can't fullfill the first eligibility criteria kyuki aapne Economics nhi pdhi h 12th me To agr second wala dekhe agr GT ka exam aapne diya hai to Aapka language aur do domain jo ki h chemistry aur bio aur GT le lenge wo then you will be eligible for DU . I hope smjh aaya hoga if not then comment your problem

GT ke marks nhi count hote h B.A ke courses ke liye bs 3 domain aur language ke marks count hote h . So you have to score 650-680 out of 800 to get north campus. For South campus - 600-640 /800 Off campus - 550-570
