  I've setup tracking based on your video using a Custom Pixel and GTM directly in shopify without making any changes to liquid. Does this have an impact into implementing the consent mode via Cookiebot using the method in this video as it does not appear to work for me. I went through all the steps multiple times and the consent banner simply does not pop out and can't be tested using the Preview mode in GTM anyway. Any suggestions/fixes here?

  Why Advertising/All channels performance report has a discrepancy in comparison to Traffic/Acquisition reports? It would be great if you could create a video on Advertising and the new Google Ads reports.

  Great stuff - would you consider refactoring the code a little to remove duplicate lines of logic? Is there a way in which the code can be hosted within the theme (point to an external javascript file within the pixel) - it seems fragile to keep the code maintained in a text area - at least checkout.liquid was version controlled. Will be circling back here closer to the August 25 switch off date.. Good job.

  I have a question, how will the tag fire on any purchase via the site? But will also transmit the data back to Google Ads on just the purchase (so you are able to differentiate the 2 data courses in your reports)? Would the work the same for other channels like IG, Facebook and Linkedin campaigns?

  Great stuff, Benjamin. Do you have any tips how to handle a situation where 2 have to Vimeo videos embedded on the same page. Right now, it tracks only the events for the first video. Also, it's strange but I get the video_complete event fired twice at the same time (1 video play = 2 video_complete events).

  Great video as usual! Question: I assume any values assigned in Google Ads to imported key events will override the values in GA4. But if you import conversion goals into Google Ads without changing those values, will Google Ads still heed the imported values?

  thanks great video as always. I'm seeing duplicate GTM events at google anylitics and in the GTM preview. I suspect because woocommerce had some basic Datalayer events already, any idea how to disable the default ones? I saw in your video that there were also 2 x add_to_cart. I note on mine, one is for the product id (gla_1541) and the other for my SKU ID as I requested in the settings for GTM4WP (33)

  Hi there, thanks for the great tutorial. I would really appreciate it If you could please answer this question for me. I already had google analytics installed on my wordpress website. At the end of your video you say " You will need to remove this at the same time as you publish your changes" could you please clarify ? Do you mean: I have to completely remove google analytics first from my website and then click submit in google tag manager? Thanks in advance.
