  Bhajan is part of semi classical music and improvisations and musical expressions are most allowed in it. He is a legend with half a century of experience . He knows what he is doing

  @@Soulintune77 Audience knows what its listening and Bhajan is for Bhakti and that is how I look at it. By the way Ajoyji sang Gata Rahe Mera Dil after a whole classical concert and I was befuddled because it spoilt the whole mood partially because he did not sing it at par with Kishore da in my opinion and the conventional Bhairavi would have been better.

  Lakh Salam to Ajoy ji. I had the fortune to meet him in London . He is a living legend ,a cutting edge pundit /a maestro a teacher /a rahbar a leader /a Murshid of Museeiqe/music who is above is above is Oscars and adulation.. The present culture of humanity is drenched in corruption and degradation culture and all art forms and specially it's worse in South Asia where we have fascism the ruling culture in India ,Pakistan and Bangladesh. Thus, beauty and humanity is blurred and crushed and so the taste and perceptions of the people . Ajoy my dear is a Sun /suraj who cannot be veiled even by an eclipse cos he will live in our hearts like a Murshid a spiritual guide as it's called in Sufism .pls if any one can convey him my heartfelt feelings . I'm his humble devotee .

  तबला सही नही बजा पा रहा है बिलकुल भी मजा नही आया भले ही पंडित जी कितना ही आलाप ले ताने ले लेकिन तबला बजाने वाला डरकर तबला बजा रहा है उसे खुलकर तबले के साथ खेलना चाहिए।

If you keep comparing today’s artists with our original stalwarts, you will be dissatisfied,always. Let’s not die dissatisfied.Please understand, that’s the only reason he touched his ear whilst mentioning him.Please, please, let’s support these superb artists who are trying to keep our music alive.
