What are peoples view on the cabana’s? I can’t see the point of paying to restrict yourself to that one small area. I know you can go off and do something else, but then you’re not getting value for money. So can anyone here that has used them comment?
We have booked an Celebrity Equinox cruise to South America and Antartica. There are more days at sea than we like so I am particularly concerned about recent reviews saying both service and food quality are not up to par!

Great video, I would never however go on my own, I would prefer to do the ship excursion that way your never left behind! Great narrative too!!
Going in October with our daughter and looking for an excursion she would like.
You guys are too cute! Headed to Cozumel in February 2025... may check out this excursion. Are life jackets provided for snorkeling?
If you do a guided snorkel tour they will provide a life jacket but if you go on your own they do not. We hope you enjoy Cozumel as much as we do!

There are lots of activities throughout the day and live music or DJs at various venues. Sea days are particularly busy with entertainment options!

I was told as seniors since we don't do alcohol, there is a package - Beverage Service for 9 day approx. $400 for 9 days, no alcohol seems a bit strange?? any suggestions, thanks for sharing info Jollean.
It really depends on the cruise line. For example, Celebrity offers a Zero Proof package that includes premium bottled water from Evian, Perrier, San Pellegrino, & Panna, Specialty Coffees & Organic Teas, Red Bull Energy Drink, Frozen Smoothies, Zero Proof Cocktails, Coca-Cola selections, offerings from Vitamin Water, and Bottled Iced Teas. Royal Caribbean offers a Soda Package and a Refreshments Package, both of which do not include alcohol. The pricing will vary and the most up to date info can be found on their respective websites. We went on Reflection April of '23 and had an absolute blast. The DJ's made every night dance filled. RC Symphony of the Seas was a huge let down when we went in April this year.
We love the Reflection too! We are going on the Beyond next so hopefully its just as fun!

Informative video! Question about the casino. If you are playing the slots and do not have a drink package, do they charge for a beverage?
We can't speak for the slots - but we have seen players at the tables get comped drinks! Perhaps one of our other viewers can chime in on the slots???
Should you bring passports w you when you get off to your excursions?
Great questions! We pack a photocopy of our passport and make sure we have either the original or the copy with us on shore - usually the original!
How much is to be at the beach? 😊

Nothing stands out to us about the straws - so they couldn't have been too bad!

Thanks! We have a few cruises booked into 2025 - We are going on the Celebrity Beyond in July (27), Celebrity Infinity out of Athens in October (26), Norwegian Encore February (23), and Sky Princess March (2).

You have to pay for the coffees but it is covered on all drink plans. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your wonderful video. I’ll be going on the Equinox next year. I did not buy the drink package. I heard at Cafe Al Bacio the deserts and snacks are complimentary. My question is do I have to buy a coffee in order to get a treat?
No, you don’t have to buy a coffee - you can get the free treats anytime it is open! Try the lemon tart 😉
If you’re on the All Inclusive Package, Teas and coffee are included.

Here is the link to Celebrity’s MoveUp Program. It explains it better than we could - but in a nutshell if there are higher category rooms left before you sail you can place a bid on them and if accepted you get the room!

First went on Equinox 2016 so I’m amazed to see they still have the glass blowing feature ! We sail in July on the Italian Riviera cruise. Will certainly take in the glass blowing.
It’s a great ship and should be a great way to tour the Med!

Thanks for the video! I have seen in several FB groups that the food is not good. What did you all think?
We kept our food selection fairly basic with chicken tacos and nachos. The salsa and guacamole were great and we thought the food overall was very good. It's hard to beat the quality of the food on the ship but we like to try the local offerings and we were not disappointed here. Hope this helps!
