Since my early childhood, music has always been a very important part of my life. A lot of these songs remind me most parts of my more than 4 decades past living years. In 1990 I created the musically related "Memory Mc Project". Different music artists & styles from the 70ties on, have influenced and accompanied me since then. You'll find most of my all time favourites here. I make all the videos here on my own, keep them in an old classic look. I also rework most of the sound files, above all the live versions, to offer to the listeners the best possible sound in those video tracks. All in one, a wonderful tribute to these wonderful musicians and bands.
I hope you'll enjoy the stuff here on my KZread channel, which only purpose it is, to share some of my memories and of course the fantastic music with you.
Best musical wishes 🎵
David

You're right he's the best! ❤
Another great performance by Phil. Another great presentation by you. Thanks.
You're welcome🎶🙂
🎉🌺
Very nice version! Thank you!
He wrote this song in the mindset of John Lennon he said, yes you could certainly hear Lennon singing this. Brilliant tune from a brilliant artist ❤
I love Daryl's guitar and Phil's vocals, of course.
❤ 💯❌💯
Iwas 18 when this song came out was on my way to work and I told my friend this song is gonna make it big Time and it sure did

Danke Phil❤Danke David❤
Actually, this live performance is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
I really don't see the point in this post, as this is exactly what the video description says. 🤷🏻♂️
Wow love you Phil. Thanks to everybody. Maxime❤
You can feel the emotion,
As always, Phil sounds amazing. I could listen to this song over and over. Thanks David.
😢
The polyrhythms Phil does at 7/8 are just insane, he was truly a phenomenal drummer. So sad he can no longer play :(
This is fantastic! Great recording, love it. And yes, Phil's voice is here at his best.
Incredible ❤❤❤
Incredible ❤❤❤
Incredible ❤❤❤
Like Trucks and Jamoie. Collins and Thompson were great complimentary drummers.
Richard Burton is the perfect narrator 🥰🥰🥰
Brilliant David, always loved this, your versions always sound the best!
Thank you. I'm glad you like it 🎶🙂
¡Quiero volver a 1973 y volver a vivir aquello con los irrepetibles Genesis!
i guess that was recorded to do some later stage live listening sessions as well as a final rehearsal before the tour, but from that point, someone should have told the mixing guy to fix the drum sounds, both chester and phil kits are too bright, or as collins would say, way too much top end, especially the bass drums, they sound like a metal/pantera recording
Heaven listening to this ❤
I didn't know there was a clear sounding recording for this track from Bray Studios Rehearsal. Thank you so much!!❤
You're welcome 🎶🙂
His voice sounds so nice, beautiful lyric!
So beautiful. Thank you ❤

Really miss Phil these days. Would love to go back in time.
Live this one. Thanks.
As always David, thank you. I like the changing visuals with the music.
🙂🎶 Thank you.
Think twice!
A very important song, especially nowadays ❤
A pity that things haven't changed since he wrote this song 35 years ago.
❤❤❤
This was archived by a show called the King Biscuit Flower Hour. The show was broadcast live as it happened since the show was sold out. I'm sure there were a lot of cassettes or even reels made of the broadcast or subsequent re-broadcasts in later years. Not sure what happened to them. Good times. So if it sounds slowed down it's likely from the source tape not the broadcast. The broadcast was clean. It may be a tad slow here. Not by much. The rippled distortion that came at the end after the Apocalypse section....that was on the broadcast too...we didn't hear it in the Syria Mosque...those are just Mike's bass pedals kicking in for a little extra oomph. This recording is such a gift. One thing it fails to capture. The thunderous ovation that occured at the end of the performance. Genesis won the Burgh over that night. There was no doubt about whether or not they could do this material with Phil as the frontman. The costumes were gone, but Phil's incredible gifts as a singer and his good-natured way of interacting with the audience won them over. Even though he thought he was still in Baltimore. LOL. True story. It's on that broadcast as well.
Merci beaucoup 😉🎶
