From beginner to seasoned veteran, the love for the game goes hand in hand with progressing as a player over the years. Our goal at back 2 basics golf is to assist golfers of all skill levels in mastering both the approach and mechanics that go into each swing.

It already exists and it’s 1/4 of the size of that. Made by Groove Fix.
Nice
Is that just a green 1-1/2" pvc coupling?

A fine young woman athlete!
95% of golfers are plagued by chunking the ball. Everything we do is a compensation to not chunk it on the course. We cant even chip without chunking. We dont know how to use the tool. We can all learn in 1 day to hit a nail on the head with a hammer and by the end of the day we can naturally add tremendous power. “Straight jacket golf” instructors twist us up like a pretzel and think we’ll be able to swing freely and powerfully. How do we use the tool and how do we get the club sweeping at the correct height at impact? Teach us that and we can take care of the rest. Do you have any videos you can point me to that will help with this plague

Like you I tucked my hands underneath the putter grip/handle. (I had read a Greg Norman article in an August 1993 edition of Golf magazine where Norman mentioned he and Butch Harmon rebuilt his putting stroke. He said he went from 73rd the year before to 3rd in putting, and he had said his keys were externally rotating his hands underneath the handle, and bending more from his waist, knees, and elbows). I liked that such a method seemed to encourage my arms to externally rotate and connect my upper arms to the side of my chest and promote consistent path to my putter where it wouldn't swing outside and away on the backswing. Having said all that I'm interested to try the hands on top equal and opposite grip as I like to use that style in my full swing, pitches, and bunker shots. Thanks for sharing a method I may not have tried if you hadn't mentioned it.
You're welcome! As we know what works for one golfer may not work for someone else. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the segment and it's given you insights on trying something else. That's the great part of the great game though, we're always learning.
I wish I didn't stop playing golf after high school. I know I could've gone pro if only the mental part was helped early on.
So Happy to see you living your Dream Blaike well deserved nothing but commitment go get it young man!!!
Absolutely loved it but I might be a bit biased, proud of my little bro.. Nick you seem like a absolute legend cheers for the content… keep it coming 👌🏽
Thank you for the feedback! We greatly enjoyed filming the Episode and it's comments like these which keep us going! 👊
I do this drill a lot. Modified. Instead of counting putts, I just putt for 5:00 and try to limit misses to 0 or 1. I don’t think missing 1 is the end of the world (for a bogey golfer). Just finish it out.
Nice! It really is a great drill and we appreciate the feedback.

I live in South African. It is as bad as it sounds.😂
Good job guys I’m looking forward to the next one. Give me a coffee name I can search for. ☕️
Appreciate the feedback. We've got 3 more filmed and being edited at the moment. Checkout "Industry Beans" or "Market Lane Coffee"
Love this mate! let me know when you're back on the coast
Cheers! Will do. 👊
i have!
Can this mirror be applied if you have a more straight back straight thru putting stroke with a 1/8 toe hang mallet style putter?
The mirror can be used to help anyone with shoulder and eye alignment. If you're putting straight back and forward you wouldn't focus on the patented arc.
Is the Pro Path Putting Mirror only for arc putting strokes? I was SAM Putt Lab fitted for a more Straight Back Straight Thru stroke with a very slight arc. My wide blade putter I was recommended has a subtle 1/8 toe hang. I want a training aid that will match my stroke. Thanks
The Pro Path Putting Mirror can be used for both straight back straight through strokes and arc putting strokes. It is designed to help golfers with their alignment, ball position, and eye position, regardless of the type of stroke they use. However, if you want a training aid that specifically matches your stroke and recommended putter, you may want to consider getting a custom-made putting mirror or consult with your SAM Putt Lab fitter for a recommendation. They may have more insight into which training aid would be most beneficial for your individual stroke and preferences.
When is part 3 coming?
Andy ended up creating more content within his Break 30 series instead of the 3rd installment. However, we do have a lot more content in our Training Center: back2basics.golf/pages/training

He missed the putt…
It's about getting yourself in the right position to make more putts. You'll never make all of them, but by setting up in the right position yourself we promise you'll make a heck of lot more of them. #nomore3putts
It's been developed between his coach and a mate. So they've developed a mirror system. Hope they make something out of it. Especially the coach and his mate.
Correct. Created by PGA Professionals Grant Field and Richard Woodhouse who are very much apart of the brand.
I'm thinking if I just lay a coin down and take my stance, aim my putter at the coin, I can then check to see if my alignment is correct with the alignment rod. I could do that from a bunch of different spots without moving the coin. This is a good drill to do at home.

@b2bGolf thank you so much!
@@back2basicsgolf Hey thanks for this! Question: How does the Handicap value on the scorecard work ?
I always find my shoulders are below the shoulder line on the mirror and not on the line. Does this matter? I am a tall guy 6’6”. If I place my shoulders on the line, then my eyes go outside the ball. Any advice? Cheers.
Hi Shane, I'm 6'2" and find that my shoulders are just below the line too. What's most important is the shoulders are kept square and our next video soon to be released talks about the importance of the eye line. - Nick
Thanks Nick, makes sense.
@@shanevanoosten6766 You're welcome! A lot more to come within this series, so if you have further questions please don't hesitate to ask as I'm sure others will be thinking the same thing.
Very interesting, I am on the market for a range finder, but I refuse to pay 400+ dollars for one. this one has my attention for sure.
Hi Elson! Thanks for your comment. Yes, our aim was to provide an incredible amount of features at an affordable price.
I love mine! Best putting mirror money can buy!
