Beautifully done.
I have to add: Bob Moore? He's such a talented musician and dude - great to hear from him!
This is excellent!! Talking not just about the route, but the music, places, people, and sights - wow!
Does anybody know the name of the movie at 15:07?
Old American car's were designed cool, but they really wasn't that dependable. Compared to modern vehicles, the steering, brakes, and safety was horrendous. The best of both world's, would be a resto-mod car. An old classic car body, fitted on a modern frame, with modern suspension, drive train, steering, brakes.
Oppps sorry you have that wrong the British did not use the 105 Priest because we already had the 25 per Sextent a year before the Amaricans had the Priest the extent was built on the Canadian built Grant chassis which was slightly different from the US Lee which the Amaricans used when the M4 Sherman became the allied meadieum tank
I d buy the 60's "English Electric Lightening" and then a Hawker Hunter or the more nimble Gnat jet.
Poor industrial relations between management and workers were responsible. This did not happen at Ford or Vauxhall where management actually engaged with the unions. Unfortunately, the industrial relations were combined with below par cars produced by BMC/BL
Beautiful cars, wonderful times, heroic drivers.
GM was confident they could produce a viable hydrogen powered car by 2010. I wonder what happened?
That mom did not look impressed 😅
US cars ruled the world once upon a time...today, sadly, they are poorly built dinosaurs using cheap materials.
I like Toyota and Honda they make Quality Automotive Vehicles
It’s a shame what the UAW did to the American car industry.
So Ford went from 'T' to 'A', now I know where T@A came from😂
Well done
More house work.
I like to thank all the people that have road the Middletown and Hummelstown railroad over the years. Get a chance take a look online and check out our 2024 schedule. We hope to see you and family again back with us. Thank you for riding the milk 🥛 and honey 🍯 railroad.
OK, here is my test, fire support USMC, 105, 155, 110mm? I cannot remember 8 inche,. That was Navy gunfire, 175 MM is off the scale, I may have heard of it in some class but, never operational. We had 2 mortars 88 were the large ones and I forgot the regular motors, I retired in 1989. so that was some time ago but not that much has changed here in 2024...........Good luck to you all.....BB
Nice Journey
A delight to have dinner and a train Ride. I saw the locomotives in Yakima in 2008 or 2009
great doc and informative
Interesting video about water powered cars and why they never seem to get put into production or rather, allowed to be put into production...
Good very good video ❤😂😅.
🤘🎥📽📹⭐️👍❤️🪝🤘
This is a nice rare car no doubt but it needs a lot of work since it really is no longer considered all original unrestored with the paint job. The paint job was poor and it needs a repaint. The pitting of the paint is obvious. The green doesn’t match the blue interior. And while the interior is clean it needs reupholstering. Does it have air conditioning? That’s almost mandatory for any post war limousine. Serious inquiry here. Please reply with an offer if the car is still for sale to be garaged in Southern California.
1983-1991.
Bring back the bbench seat
Laughing my ass off
At 37:00 it shows a white over copper 1960 Chevrolet Impala, but calls it a 1960 Buick. All in all a very nice film.
Much to the oint, well done. But since this was made Morgan was bought by the Italians, probably a good thing. Things chane, Stalin had Rolls Royce but Breznew had a few Mercedes Benz 600 cars. A Lada for Putin I hope.
From every 100 air plane 28 are be able to fly f35 defective air plane
❤❤😂😂🎉😢😢😮😮😅
thumbs down, music and no cc
What a nice video! Great to see that somebody doesn't only do his homework in a sincere way but is also able to present the content in a no-nonsense way! Well done! PS: the issue presented is very interesting since the Brits did influence so much in the car industry. Sad to see how everything went down the drain and all that is left is investment fund-owned luxury car companies or went to Chinese rule...
The automobile changed what once used to be an unspoiled natural amazing pristine environment beautiful country. Now take a good look at it being all built up with highways, parking lots, bridges, tunnels, residential, commercial and industrial complexes. The country is ruined and destroyed now. We go from being able to buy mass-produced cheap cars for $500 to cars costing $25,000 and more with them still being made on assembly lines. Imagine how beautiful the country was prior to White man arriving here? Capitalism has its pitfalls. Btw, this is the best documentary on the automobile I've ever seen.
MEMORIES ARE YOURS AND YOURS ALONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHARE THEM WITH OTHERS. AT AGE 89 I FIND I AM WILLING TO SHARE MINE TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN. I AM PAST THE GOLDEN AGE AND "TIME IS MOST PRECIOUS" TO ME.
In the 40s and the 50s and the 60s the cars were beautiful, even in the late 30s some models were gorgeous.
They skimmed right over the 80s and 90s with only video of Saturns being built. Not good
You got yer cars & years all mixed up! 🤤🤨
I commuted 1 and a half hours to work (and 2 hours back) every day for 25 years…
your video really great. I have been too many of these places.
A person doesn't see very much on the Super slab, get on the 2 lane roads and you can more of the country.
Thanks for the memories Mr Wallis!😉
nuker bomb is not the most deadliest weapon. a magic talisman can destroy the whole world. that's why the catholic church feared magic.
