Our Goal is to drive from the Netherlands to South Africa and back with a regular electric car that we charge with solar panels we take with us. We will be completely self-sufficient; sleeping in a rooftop tent, cook electric and shower by the car.
'k dacht YES ... ze zijn terug vertrokken :-) Grtjs, Guy

I just come back from a trip in Mozambique. I discovered there how much a 4x4 was necessary in remote areas and met some overlanders. I wondered if it was possible with an electric car. You guys just proved it, thanks for the initiative and all the sharing ! 😍 I wonder now if I could do something similar in a near future... 🤩

Could you maybe rate the countries you have been in regarding EV charging?
@TesLatino7 ай бұрын
The entire world needs to be educated regarding charging electric vehicles. Even here, in the United States of America where there are already electric cars everywhere, many places won't allow an electric car to be plugged in. I hope that you can continue your trip safely and that you are having a great time always.

Because of difficulties charging, it costed us mentally more energy to drive through Tanzania, but we don't blame the people.. it takes a lot of time to get people adapted, but we are getting there!
