Thanks for the tip! I didn't have any of those dish washing pods, so I just put a few squirts of Cascade Dishwasher Liquid in my inner pot as well as a splash of vinegar. Then I used my dish cloth to give it a scrub, adding some water as I went along. It did a great job getting the bottom of my inner pot very clean and stain free. I'll pick up some of those pods the next time I'm at the grocery store and give your full method a try!

wow 3 hrs and they were still raw? 3 hrs is a long time. When you get the tamales out they have to rest for 10-15 mins so they can have time to get firm

Ive made tamales 3 maybe 4 times, and have always bought my masa pre-made. I mix reg masa and pineapple masa together, (using a less pineapple then I do reg masa) anyway, I also make some without the pineapple masa, but the ones with the pineapple masa mix always go SO fast, I can never make enough. ANYWAY, my point being, Is, im going to try making the masa using your recipe, but want pineapple the flavor. Should i just add the juice from a can of crushed pineapples (in its own juice, not sweetened) in place of some of the other liquid, and perhaps just a little bit of the crushed pineapples...

If making a cold pasta salad, drizzle a little white wine / rice vinegar & stir until extra moisture is absorbed. You might see just a little on the bottom. Just a little @ a time, depends on amount of pasta. It keeps pasta from getting soft & melee. I’m following your cooking instructions 3rd time…PERFECT😊
