There is speeding up the video. Straight from camera. Gps is always accurate, the insta360 camera gps sucks but we aren’t speeding anything up

yes it is. Normally we use a program called telemetry overlay, this video I used the insta360 app.

thanks for watching. sorry the quality is a little lack luster. with storm rolling in, it got much darker in the woods and the gopro wasn't set up for that. Hope you still enjoy the video and share it.

@@BOOSTDTV it’s one thing to see them going through the trails from the front view, but to get to see the rider traversing through the trails and how physically demanding the sport is just makes it that much more interesting to watch
@@mattlumley3742 yeah it really shows how much the rider is putting in. I just wish we could keep the mud off the camera. He does great at reaching down and wiping it but in the middle of an intense race and track it can be hard to do

Why does the compass and speedometer look fuzzy.
I extracted the GPS data a different way from this camera than I normally do due to the fact the gps data always is weird from this camera. It apparently rendered different than what I hoped. I didnt want to delay video by redoing it so I went ahead with it.

@@JoeySchener gopro Hero 11 and some before have GPS feature built in. the Hero 12 does not. GoPro stop support of the data overlay though, I think. either way I use a software called Telemetry overlay. it works with other devices too. plus very customizable.

I only shot AM and PM atvs. In the future I'm going to try and do a combined Youth only BIKE/ATV. This was my first race shooting in a while so I wanted to dust off the cobb webs first.

Just a GoPro Hero 11 mounted to mount that is bolted through the front fender in front of handlebars
@@BOOSTDTV Gotcha, in a few shots it almost looked like a gimbal mount when going up the hills you could see the bumper.
@@jefftrumble4768 that's the great stabilization software gopro has now. it crops in a bit on the image to stabilize it. that's why sometimes you can see the bumper. Gopro make a lens adaptor too that will keep the horizon perfectly level no matter the angle of the camera is. Creates some cool shots. we have used them multiple times but stop using that because the lens is so fragile it would scratch easy and they are $99 so after replacing it a few times it got old. LOL
