  Bro I have a doubt, please help me I am a b. Tech graduate in chemical engineering from a top 5 NIT.I didn't attend for the cat exam till now. But I want to drop a year for cat 2025 But i heared that there will be a compound marking system(graduation mark, job experience... Etc) My cgpa is 7.7 Is there any chance of getting into top iims with the exam mark?? Or am I just wasting one year?? Please help me

  Hi, your college and CGPA will definitely increase your composite score. but keep in mind that Cat is a unpredictable exam so taking a gap year will be a risky decision. I will suggest, you start preparing for CAT with your job. Since you have a decent profile hence getting into an IIM totally depends on your CAT score and performance in an interview.
