Hi Antje! I'm getting a Borzoi puppy in a month, and fortunately stumbled upon your channel. You've mentioned that you expect training Anna to be different than training Border Collies. Is the only difference, is having to use use dedicated tasty snacks for training? Any difference in the technique of how you train Anna vs. your other dogs? Thanks a lot and keep it up!! :)

Well, borzois are known to be very independent, unlike my collies (rough collies) they really rely on me telling them what to do. A borzoi was meant to hunt down wolves as a solitary action. But with loads of patience and rewarding you can make them do a lot. Sometimes I even compare our Anna to a cat, just doing what she wishes. Really tasty treats will work wonders, and use your daily ration of food for training
