  You are totally right for the flashback character, thats a trick they can abuse to bring back a lot of characters like Ogre or Bruce and have them have little story bits to explain more the backstory and personnality of Jun and Kazuya with those interactions. Thats better than 'Nope, im alive lol'. And i say that as a heihachi main

  @@realValkyshima that’s the point, I don’t know why people decided game lore is necessary if all they needed was gameplay only. It’s the same people who wanted games to have lore, to make it unique and to call it canon; that now are destroying it’s canonicity, corrupting it’s uniqueness up and ruining the lore entirely. It just doesn’t feel right to me, you know. It’s basically like my whole point of defending the lore is now being violated because of this. Now King Of Fighters, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and now Tekken 8, have violated mainline lore standards and now can’t be called lore based games anymore. Maybe it’s just me, it’s just a callback to Tekken 1, “If you don’t like game lore, go back to Tekken 1”. You guys don’t need endings like this, I just wish they never included game lore and the endings in the first place if this is what the gamers wanted. Better yet, this should’ve only been about the Arcade versions, not lore inside the games to extensively cover up the games.

  Hilarious how both Street Fighter and Tekken decide to do a complete 180 for the stories of their previous games, as that was when their villain characters (M. Bison and Heihachi) were supposed to be killed off for good. I love the idea of gramps returning but I think it should have been further down the line, as maybe some sort of anniversary DLC. Nevertheless, this new season of "The Young and the Iron Fist" is going to be juicy. I also appreciate how direct this video was. It was funny and to the point, not some 10 minute rambling. You should definitely keep doing this.

  This autumn DLC is a perfect Halloween gift for Kazuya 😂 And yeah, I bet it's gonna be released on October, since Eddy was released on April and Lidia on July. The teaser itself, especially the last half, has quite a horror vibe. Also, since both Kazuya and Jin lost their Devil Genes, I wish Jun gives Kazuya enough sense to make him joint vengence with Jin and kill Heihachi for *real* this time.

  really glad he's back as a playable character! i agree w him being free dlc but..come on it's THE man who made kazuya who he is, so he's probably gonna come with a price tag 😔 i don't know how i feel about him being back in a narrative sense, part of me wants him to stay dead but on the other hand seeing mishima family drama is quite fascinating

  I generally feel like Tekken 7 is pointless I thought they was man enough to finally kill off a character. And then in Tekken 8 finish the rivalry between kaz and Jin. Now we are all back to square 1 again. Pointless
