Incredible that just a tune will put you over 700hp with no problems or parts.
I wish it has less than 2 sec acceleration
The gr86 as it is now is excellent in my opinion. I didn't buy it to race. It's an extremely rewarding daily driver for me. It was a huge upgrade from my 2014 ford focus that I drove for 10 years. It's a great, affordable entry level sports car. The RWD feels excellent, and I couldn't be happier
I researched him back in 96 under Rory Howard Johnson magnetron. I have somewhere a bunch of schematics and story lines about his motor. It was also said at the time that he set up one of these motors empowered the houses in his neighborhood at the cost of $12 per year
Idiots. It takes more energy to make hydrogen in commercial scale than it provides. They can’t even hold hydrogen in a tank. Green posing.
Its clear hydrogen ICE cars are coming... a big heavy battery in an EV and no fun engine sounds is unacceptable.
Just buy 3 bmw in case the other 2 won’t work you buy bmw not for their reliability.
I don't think the car was legit, which in turn means that he almost certainly wasn't murdered. I have no doubt he was a talented man, a genius even. The problem with genius is it's a close cousin to madness. Isaac Newton died a virgin, Einstein was a complete nut as was Salvador Dali. If you prefer a modern "genius" may I refer you to Kanye West. Having said all of that, I believe that within a decade we will have found a legitimate alternative to oil or electricity. Of course I don't know what it might be but I'd guess that it will indeed be water / hydrogen based. It's safe to ignore the opinions of "experts" as these are the same people who ridiculed Darwin, nuclear power and even electricity as fantasies. Meanwhile they operated with unwashed hands on blood crusted tables and performed frontal lobotomies with a mallet and an icepick on patients who were a bit sad. A final thought for y'all.... while Meyer wasn't murdered it's not unreasonable to suspect that GM, Exxon or more likely the Saudis would not hesitate to have anyone looking to bankrupt them killed. It not like the Saudis don't kill people on a regular basis now is it?
bmw is known as a posing badge for muppets with no clue about cars 🤡
That T80 looks absolutely amazing.....half aircraft, half spaceship. What a piece of engineering in the 1930's. Mercedes-Benz have some back-catalogue! Unlike any other manufacturer in history!
My m47 320d is on 187.354 miles never missed a heart beat its bullet proof and it's well maintained
Had to double check your channel details when I heard the SA accent 🤪 great video! Keep up the great work!
Win win win for H2! Thanks Chris for keeping my hopes high. I'd love to own an H2 combustion engine, better than the fuel cell, maybe you can deliver the efficiency and everyday usage, be in the cold or hot weather or other issues. Sound will be better anyways 🙂 Cheers 👍💪✌
Yes to the R8 V12 TDI 👍
Biomass? cowchips.
Carl Brunet with the Napierville 2.2 Ecotec just set a new record with that car, at 5.82 seconds at 242 mph: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aY2C0ZV7ZqWunqQ.html
Nanotechnology will increase hydrogen storage capacity using "Cat Whiskers," a carbon product that's capable of holding much more hydrogen per square inch of volume.
Hydrogen combustion engines actually clean the air, and the water injection is like steam power. Beautiful , cool, clean, fun! 💚😎
i have spy shots of the new buggati
Let me see how do I see
I think there's far too much unnecessary technology in many cars today adding to cost, maintenence expense and complexity. Only manual pre-2015 sports cars for me.
Thanks for this video breakdown of the Faraday Future. I can't afford to own one at this time; but I did purchase stock in the company. I think they are onto something. Look out Tesla.
it's a hybrid
Power to weight has always been rule #1. Then how power is delivered, and handled on track. Sounds easy, but its a never ending recipe.
What your opinion about INN engine
Buttons for the win. Touch screens are a hazard.
Thanks Chris 👍💪✌️
It's way faster than the last year's version. An engineering company through and through. Like the electric turbo and the small battery, only 50 kg more, nice 3.6 flat 6, it's a beauty. But the price once again is for the 1% only.
The man was Italian, and after the French exciled Ettore, because being Italuan they thought he was working with tge Geemans, an Italian started the company again before going bankrupt with the EB110, all Italian made in Torino. VW came in when the Italian entrepreneur went broke. What is French?😂😂😂
Interesting video thanks ❤❤❤❤
Definitely looks awesome. I want to go to Hell driving such a car. Flat out.
Ford had tougher trucks. I can see why the mustang 302 was also dominant. Very cool old school. Rock on Chris! 👍🤙😎
Gas cost around 25 cents a gallon back then… 😐
That's about $2.79/gallon in today's prices. Where I live regular is around $2.99/gallon, $3.59/gallon for premium. Gas was at its highest price in 1980-81, 2008, and 2011-2012. When I first started driving in 2003, I remember filling up for $1.59/gallon. In 2008, I paid the highest price I've ever paid for gas: around $4.6x/gallon. I've seen higher prices, but never paid more than I did in 2008. All things considered, gas is still quite cheap. 😃
Try California, currently ~ $5-$7 per gallon 🙄
Lightweight important in moving parts of engine , for inertia reduction, not the block, but resins used in binding carbon fibre not compatible with chemicals and heat of engine.
can u show how did u install a catch can on n47?
Well, a V16 NA sure sounds like what we've been missing out on. No turbo sound changes, it sure could be so very sweet. Can't wait to hear it one day soon somewhere, hopefully here! Cheers Chris 👍💪✌
Love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤ full of information and great photos I have never seen before thanks
Hello, Thank you for beautifull video Chris I love it, I apritiate the work you done in getting all information about bike. I will little bit comment on open questions you asked about the bike. About restrictions: 120hp trim -> that's calculated maximum which engine core(meaning crank, crank case, cylinders and supercharger) power that the engine can theoretically produce and handle, thats theoretical maximum that could be reached but can not be exceeded. But that never was goal for this bike. 60hp trim-> Thats usable version, thats little below mechanical limits of clutch and gearbox and little bit over the limits of brakes and frame, in this trim motorcycle did the most of its miles (670 miles on the clock now). 12hp trim (done by installing the choking plate in intake)-> was made just for legislation purposes otherwise its impossible to pass very very tough homologation testing process I´m in EU so modifying any road-going vehicle without blessing of almighty byrocracy is criminalised here.... But going from 12hp trim to 60hp trim takes 1min 22s (measured) so I will let rest to your imagination... About Jawa stuff I´m Jawa enthusiast, I grew up in place where no other bikes were available. So I learned all about this brand, I got plenty spare parts and know how about these bikes, so that was go to motorcycle for me. Also there was legislation limit for base bike to be from 1960 or older, having passed all homologation procesesses in czech republic back in the day (1960), that limits choice of base bike dramatically to Jawa 11 , Jawa 13 (now around 8 000 USD) and Jawa 500 (around 50 000 USD) so choice was reduced to Jawa 11, Jawa 13 (same bike, difference in cylinder count)..... So yes point was engineering practice, and proving that its possible to make very complex stuff with familyman budged... And yes I´m wondering about putting this engine into motorcycle that could handle the power, and check that how precise the "120hp" calculation was if you know what I mean (but such bike would end up with impossibility of being road legal.... Thank you Chris, good job with the video.... Marek
120hp per liter
Badass! ❤❤❤😎
Cosworth v16. Oh man, so good. Imagine their dyno room...
soon as u said it was a hybrid electric car i clicked off the video, i came back to leave this comment lol, i love ur channel tho and ur content is top grade
Beautiful engine 😍
The 80 cc Yamaha 2-stroke motorcycle used a rotary valve setup . I owned one for a short while. It was short on power, but ran smooth.
Hydrogen is horrible. Coming from a previous owner of a Toyota Mirai.
Another car that I never heard before .thanks ❤❤❤❤❤
Getting mileage out of any engine results in vastly reduced power output.. drawing fuel mixture through a hot box will give better atomization but throttle response decreases.. all these things have been tried years ago.. vaporizing the fuel to an expanded gaseous state is the key..
I think if Diesel-Gate hadn't been uncovered, they may have pushed it. We'll never know. Thanks Chris 👍💪✌️
A super car will be standard in the near future. 😁
Once they figure out that the electric cars just don't cut it, the diesel could be back?
@rjung_ch What I had in mind for a near future super car would have an internal rocket thrust machine in the front of the car to pull it forward, left and right regardless of road conditions like being slippery from ice or snow. There would be another internal rocket thruster in the rear of the car for braking and using for reverse.
@@jamesbishop9156 😂😂😂
@@rjung_ch your laughter stems from fear, rjung.
@@jamesbishop9156 fear of rocket motors or fear of the insane ideas you have? Or both? My only fear is the future in which society and the planet is heading. What do you make of that?
Aww! Nice! SCORPION 🦂! ❤
Never gonna happen. Coates has been "promising" this for years.
