Khabib is the man but he never really challenged himself to WW. We are in an era of double champ. Its easy to do super weight cuts and weight bully LWs. Lets see you do that to WWs. Idk about most jujitsu schools but my couch really REALLY frowns on jumping straight to pulling guard. He also taught us how to take advantage of someone who does. Adding simple slapping strikes during a match would change the sport. No one would do that nonsense lol not to mention why would you wanna start in a non dominant position ? Guard is a defensive position. If you can’t beat a dude like that find a different sport lol they also they should deduct a point for every 6 seconds you’re on your back without being held there or grappling lol. I just see so many jujitsu guys who really didn’t learn proper techniques. Guard isn’t an offensive technique. Fake pulling guard and hit a triangle choke from standing. But even that isn’t the best option lol better than butt scooting tho lol

It's true that this wouldn't save him in a street fight, but if you think he's not a fighter because he scoots his butt around on the floor, then demonstrate how this is not a fighting style and beat him with your own method. Otherwise, you ought to learn how to fight from the ground just like him.

Using the rules to avoid punches/kicks/etc... while closing the distance is the same thing you do when you approach with a knee on the ground or playing the hand on the mat game in MMA Aljo! Bet you wouldn't do that in a street fight either, or you might get knee'd in the head or worse. How do you not see the irony in getting upset at this type of "gaming" in the sport when you're well-known for the equivalent version of it in MMA?
