If anyone wants to hear some good music from a goth band currently making music, Tears For The Dying are seriously underrated. I'd suggest Lost Girls, Bloat and Palomine from them!

The sheer breadth of music seen here is why I prefer to just call it all post-hardcore. The music doesn't necessarily have to be about matters of the heart, it just has to be rooted in hardcore but mixed with other influences that hc fans tend to consider taboo. Anyway, thanks for making this video! I wasn't really familiar with a lot of those early '90s bands.

your need of having to put only the heaviest part of each song just so the list sound "pure rock" , just don't. Real rock fans no there's nothing wrong with a slow melody coming here and there and not everything has to be about heavy distorted guitars and yelling. Probably why you didn't put Shine on you crazy diamond in this list? That masterpiece is not "rock enough" for you smh
