Hello, I am really enjoying all your videos. Thank you. I am coming to Toronto in September and will be staying in the downtown area. I most likely will not have a car. Could you recommend some good restaurants serving good dim sum and good sushi? Thanks!
If you are staying in downtown, your go-to dim sum places will be in Chinatown. I have not been to any of them so I don’t know which is good to recommend, but I believe they are overall good compared to many places in North America. As for sushi place, we have been to one Michelin starred omakase sushi place but I think they charge $400 per person, pls chk if this is something you are after. Otherwise I have tried other places but they are far away from downtown. I had a similar looking & extremely sweet and aromatic muskmelon at the Pike Place Market in Seattle in the late 1980s. Never had one that good before or after. In general, all cantaloupes are muskmelons, but not all muskmelons are cantaloupes; akin to all salmons are fish, but not all fish are salmons.
