Its kind of impressive how utterly loathesome and whiny we have become over our video games. How much more accepting of unfinished and subpar games we have become. Yet we have the absolute unflinching atandard that any inconvenience.. is just too far. Bethesda probably shoupdnt have updated the game.. it was "fine" and the mods worked. But they did. So either, the mods can be fixed.. or you can do without. Remember alot of people are playing it for the first time and know jack shit about the mods, how that works, and anything to do with it. A not insignificant number of people are discovering Fallout.. for literally the first time ever. That being said. Did it break some of my mods and annoy me a little. Yes. But i still love the game. And i still play it. Same with Skyrim, new Vegas, fallout 3, NEVER FALLOUT 76... And i also enjoy Starfield. So maybe.. just maybe. Try being less of a twat about it and realize the entirety of the gaming industy doesnt service your weird weeb futunari giant jiggly bits mod fetish specifically. And for the mod developers and creators who got mad and tossed the entirety of their work prior to the moment. Or who have sworn they will not touch Starfield at all. Good. Dont get ass prints on the door on your way out.

"i feel it is unfair to judge skyrim by the standards of 2023" i don't, i've always judged it by the standards of 1998(thief), 2006(dark messiah of might and magic), and other titles of it's time period dark souls (2011). it was never all that good or groundbreaking by rpg or even first person rpg standards. it was subpar.

Unlike other ES games Morrowind is a broken mess and it knows that. You can break the game at the beginning or just min max to the point where you’re invincible. Like skyrims fortify restoration potion glitch, oblivions paint brushes, or many other glitches Morrowind has all that built in the mechanics and makes it so fun. If you just play it chilled out it has the best story out of all the games because it doesn’t rely on voice acting to convey its story. I remember playing ES5 for the first time as a little kid and wondering about the lore and looking up lore videos on KZread. The videos were not good or were only based on ES5 however when I’m 20 and play Morrowind for the first time I was completely awestruck but the sheer amount of lore that was jam packed in this one game. It’s like when people are introduced to the Dark Souls series the pros always recommend DS3 for beginners (at-least for my peers and community) and then play DS1. A lot of people in the ES community started with ES5 and don’t go back to play the older games. Even though my first game was ES5, Morrowind takes the cake for being my favorite.

Skyrim: the only time eating a million cheesewheels saves you from death instead of causing your death. Also the only game that I've never actually finished in the past 10 years or so that ive had it...despite like 900 hours of play.

I have never played Skyrim before and the first thing I have been doing for the last 3 weeks is setting up mods and patches and I havent played any farther than Riverwood, most times I dont even reach Riverwood before stopping the game and tweaking Mods or adding something or just messing with this. Modding Skyrim is just a craft in itself and really damn interesting XDDDDD I REALLY hope my game wont crash midway through my gameplay due to a critical error ☠. But the fun for me in this game has just been building on top of everything that already exists, just modyfying it the way YOU want it to be. I fthere is something you want but it doesnt even exist yet, then from extensively modding the game, learning how to mod and stuff you can try and create it yourself until it will eventually work out. Or I guess I should just start playing the actual game XD🍉🐢

After you read the Thalmor Dossier and you understand what you read, if you were willing to join the civil war, you can not follow the banner of a racist, spy for thalmor, fake follower of Talos like Ulfric, thirsty with power and control. Long Live the Mede Dinasty, Long Live the Empire.

I always want to mod skyrim or oblivion but it is always such a defeating experience for me. First time i tried modding was OG skyrim on pc but the process of modding is too complicated for me. there are tons of different mod managers, then there are programs like BOSS which sort your load Order because Mod manager cant do that, then there are programs to clean your mods and so on. I am one of the few who prefers paid mods more and more because It gives me the plug and play experience. Just pay, download, install, play. Simple as that. I found your video because I started modding again yesterday with skyrim first (which did not work) and oblivion second wich also did not work, but that was my fault because I did not start fresh. But yeah, modding is still such a bad experience for me. I just want to be able to play a modded skyrim, from start to finish without constant CTD'S. That sucks so much becaus I WANT to play with mods, there are so many cool mods out there but i never get them to work, there is always an issue. Either CTD, font issues, npc neck color issues and so on. Actually modding skyrim and oblivion just makes me sad. The only time I had a successfull modding experiece was with stardew valley. The mods with this game just work. So with Cities skylines. So yeah, as long as modding skyrim via nexus takes so much steps, I stay away from it. For my own sanity. I will come back, when skyrim modding does only require 3 steps: Step 1 download, Step 2 double click and install, step 3 have fun. Without worrying about load order or anything. I don't understand why I have to worry about load order. Can you not set a load order spot directly into the mod? Oh and I tried creation mods to, they are so close to what I want, so close. So yeah, I gladly pay for mods because I don't have to worry about anything else. They just work.

One thing I thought of is the Dragonborn would DEFINITELY travel to raven rock and defeat mirrak. I also believe he would join the Dawnguard over the vampires as well. I don’t think he would become a vampire and join the vamps. I DO think that he ALSO defeats every dragon priest as well. Takes every mask and finds out about the konarik (I know I misspelled that) mask. He prolly would use that against alduin

Mods have basically ruined these games for me. I spend hours modding it but am never satisfied enough with the list and always think of things I can add or change. I could play this game and Skyrim forever back in the day before I had access to mods just fine though because I was making the most with what I had.

death march enemies attack, dodge and block more often too. i noticed this with the first griffin boss. i played it on easiest difficulty because i was trying to get the monster contracts achievement and i just wailed on him and it kept getting staggered, it didn't even block my attacks nor did it attempt to counter attack. fought the griffin in death march and it blocks more often, it doesn't get staggered that much even when i use signs and bombs, he also flies a lot more in death march. probably the best strategy in death march is to just overlevel and try to soak in every bit of exp so that you get to use high level gear sooner.

Dude Dark Brotherhood storyline in one of two most interresting storylines in the whole game and the second one is thieves guild storyline. I really don't want to skip this or destroy the Dark Brotherhood in the lame quest just to kill them all. And even when I am usually playing as good character, in skyrim is symply more interresting to play quests for badguys. Thieves, Dark brotherhood and daedric quests...all other questlines are just meh...

Fallout 4, like Fallout 3, shows a utopian post-apocalypse that is very hard to believe. The very existence and way of life of people in these worlds raises a lot of questions. Just imagine that scientists who locked themselves underground after the bombs fell were able not only to survive, but also to create robots that cannot be distinguished from humans. From the fallout, these games have only one name left.

I think Brynjolf does actually have dialogue if you make your money through legit means, like selling logs at a mill, I think I remember getting the dialogue once, but it could've been a mod or it could've been my imagination, still, I think it's a fun idea! He says you aren't making money honestly because most Dragonborn take from the bodies of the dead instead of honest work
