Argh! Yes, that’s the reality sometimes. In a race with 40nd, I was no smaller than 5.5 and 140l racing board. Well adjusted and with a lot of head it went well but when the board lifts up like on your video, it’s survival. 🤙🏽

you video brought me back to Garda lake in italy, 10-12 years ago with a very fat sail (5.9 hotsails 1996 model :) ). I remember the biggest issue was that the sail was spinning around very fast while in the water and also going very under water for some reason, forcing the board to capsize . Very strange behaviour I never had with normal wind.. Water start was very challenging as well. It required lot of control and strength/stamina : if I were trying to start too upwind, the wind was going under the board and making taking off/ capsize. I can't clearly remember but I think I managed to waterstart only with somehow a downwind direction grabbing the mast very high and ready to open ta sail immediately..The behaviour in such conditions was so different. Glad I was at a lake. Also ultra choppy . It was really a battle.

Buenas tardes, están genial esta serie de videos que habéis hecho. Voy a retomar el windsurf después de varios años sin hacer nada y como vivo pegado al mar menor me viene genial además que habléis de spots que me pillan muy bien para practicar. Mi idea es aproximarme al slalom y cuando vuelva a coger soltura, practicar también algo de velocidad. Por eso me ha llamado la atención lo que comentáis del Alfa Racing y me gustaría saber si el GPS motion (o algún otro) permite ver en en momento que estás navegando si el alfa no se pasa de los 50m. O si uses el gps que uses, solo se pude ver al subir los datos a la página web. Gracias y mucho animo, seguid subiendo estos videos que son muy útiles.

Hola, el motion si permite ver los alpha y puedes ver si te pasaste de los 50m porque el alpha no es contabilizado, yo lo suelo llevar en mejor alpha y ultimo alpha, asi veo si entro o me pase y vas calculando, en el molino es bastante facil porque tienes de referencia el paseo.

This year I hope this 1º 50 knots vmax 2º 50 knots 2 seg 3º 50 knots 100m For this year is ok with this, but for future I would like 4º 50 knots 250m 5º 50 knots 500m All my material is new, and I'm very confident with it, but I don't know where is my actually limit with Tribal boards, sail and fins. I hope see it soon.

yes, fin is a weedspeed that normally is ok to pass fisherman's nets is similar than delta fins, but this time not ok
