This major was amazing, first one I ever got to attend in person and was cheering for BC the whole time. I feel like Secret might be the team to watch going into Montreal, that Virtue pick up could be nasty
Yeah going to LAN is such an experience I loved it when I went to Atlanta. Secret could be on the rise but will see how they do at the ESWC.
Brazil falling apart in both Pro League and Copa America needs to be studied
Your pretty wrong on your take lol
The game has changed but people saying the game is different so the new titles are more impressive are just wrong. The competition was still solid back then. Recency bias is huge for these newer teams, if you were actually around when G2/Penta were clearing up you'd know just how much effort went into it. The coaching, the strats and the overall chemistry between the 5 stack. If the newer wins meant more then that'd mean that football players like Haaland are way more impressive than players such as Rooney just because they did it in a different era. It's truly poor to try and make comparisons across era's especially when one team has won considerably more than the other.
Doesn't G2 as an org have 3 SI titles?
Yes. And Fabian has 3 aswell! 1 as Coach.
No. The first win was on Penta. The teams second win was for G2. The third win was a completely different roster. It’s about the players and teams specifically. Which is why he says G2/Penta and W7M/Furia.
Might be bias for me because the play style of the Brazilian where they trade and swing everything I don’t think g2 would’ve kept up in a hypothetical match. Just the sheer stats of w7m winning with their support players going positive having top 10 clutch players .
Well W7M didn't win trophies by getting people unjustly banned. So W7M.
nothing makes me laugh more than americans pronouncing chalet as “shallot”
Bro it’s shallet get it right
@@R6EsportsInsider Lollllll honestly i respect the dedication, great vid btw
the current G2 roster is under a ton of pressure, have been for yrs. obviously this isn't the same G2 as of old, its not supposed to. a ton of us expect this roster to carry on the greatness that prime G2 has displayed for a long time, and now that the competition level is high, its hard to do so since everyone is not only good, but playing the game differently. in that specific sense i learned that w7m, now FURIA, is executing everything they've been coached to do, just like prime G2. what really made me respect w7m was Grand Finals vs Faze. rough start on Map 1 getting flooded under Faze's map pick, barely win their map choice on map 2, choke a 5-1 lead on map 3, dominate map 4 going into map 5 with tons of momentum, go down 6-1 on map 5 and then turn around to give us the greatest comeback of all time in R6 siege winning 8-6 and lifting that hammer. unbelievable....
Ok so as far of the word dynasty goes w7m needs more in their belt to qualify as for now g2 wins it
If Furia win Manchester they take G2/Penta's title, but if they lose it then G2 are secure.
I think that until Furia wins another SI. G2 is the greatest.
@@R6EsportsInsider4 events vs 3. They didn’t win but 3 majors and one SI is at the very least equal to 2 SI’s and one major
Can you make a video going over the russian giants empire/virtus pro? They have been a top team for so long
I’ll definitely add it to the list of videos I have planned for the summer
@@R6EsportsInsider ♥️♥️♥️
the fact this is even a question shows how impactful recency bias can be. it’s g2 and by far. w7m/furia barely qualified for this manchester major and were getting beat badly left and right in the brazil league. g2 by a mile
ITB is 1 of 2 teams who managed to take a map from BDS this stage.does not look like they're worse than bliss at all
I’m not saying they’re worse than Bliss but Bliss has a year of LAN experience while 4 out of 5 players on ITB have zero. Bliss made top 8 at SI before this team was even made. I’ve been a big believer of Bliss since Atlanta.
saying g2 can't beat DZ is questionable to me, I'm pretty sure they played twice at SI, another time at Atlanta, then also at the SI 2023 with each time G2 winning, last time I can remember DZ beating G2 was all the way back in Charlotte and it was an 8-7, I feel DZ are the stronger team overall but G2 are seemingly the bane of NA
I shouldn’t have said that g2 couldn’t beat DZ I just think if they play again I think they’ll beat G2 this time
didnt even qual for playoffs 💀
@@luckieR6 sorry give me a minute I need to go kms after that performance against fearx
@@samdarley8641 all good faze just lost to fucking team secret
Aged like milk
Liquid started really bad but played REALLY well on lcq, they improved a real ton, i can see them getting top 4
one of these four, bleed ssg g2 and liquid will not be able to make phase 2 due to the bracket, one of them will be eliminated
Yeah I forgot about that I guess the weak link in my opinion is liquid
g2 dynasty was insane, but w7m win streak and 2nd on invititational 2023 is way more impressive given the level of the game and the lenght of the tournaments now a days
Daddy good job 🥰
Furia is easily the best team here
idk i honestly think ssg will shock u

you should do a pre-major video on the teams going! Much respect, I love your content!
Appreciate the support and major predictions video is coming this week
I don’t know about that they at least to have win another SI and get in another final (doesn’t need to win) before they can be compared to G2 and I can feel the bias coming from this video, Faze is looking way stronger specially after this latest stage, also we have to see if they get to go against the new BDS team
This is the definition of recency bias, w7m isn’t even close
They got 2nd at last years Indvatational won 2 majors and won this years invitational. No recency bias
@@dtraindolphins004vast difference between the two, W7m is a dynasty, but they don’t compare to G2’s dynasty
I understand that but they are the only team to win two majors let alone back to back and they won SI by going through the LCQ. G2 is still better but W7M/Furia is right behind them.
Nah
been saying that since SI ended, everyone’s all of the sudden saying they’re the greatest of all time. I’m convinced they just started watching R6 esports in 2023-2024
Eg continuum debatably better than w7m
Continuum won one SI and one Pro League Final and when they were EG they didn’t win a single event
G2/Penta
W7M titles are more impressive in my book because of the level of competition (not saying G2 didn't beat great team because they did, like EG and Empire) but overall there's a reason why we haven't seen a team dominate and win several titles after the Raleigh Major because the talent and skill has gotten much closer between teams, W7M hasn't finsiehd worst than top 4 after the Charlotte major and they made 2 SI finals while winning one with addition to a 2 majors which in today's Siege esports is much much harder to do compared to the early Siege Esports period (2016-2019), but still nothing but respect to the OG G2/Penta roster, that team was truly the final boss in every tournament they went to until theie time was over...
I don’t know it just felt like no one was ever going to beat G2 and with W7M you have Faze and BDS on their level. No one was on G2’s level. But I do see your point of harder competition.
@@R6EsportsInsider Too early to say BDS is on anyone's level they havent played international with this roster yet. i do think faze will probably take this major tho they are loooking nasty
@@felipestadler6605nah BDS takes it ✊🙌🙏
@@R6EsportsInsider yeah bc R6 in 17-19 was very bad the level of comp was very bad. W7M/Furia is winning in the Hardest meta where teams cant stay on top bc the level of comp is so high
Angry Brazilians incoming 💢
great channel dude, I came back to siege this season and its so fun to watch pro league again. And you are right g2 still has more titles than furia for now (I hope furia will change that soon)
Thanks man and I think G2’s dominance was at a point where we just knew they were going to win no matter what. Furia has to deal with Faze.
L take W7M/Furia Better

Why’d Aceez get banned?
For alleged cheating. He would drop 20 bombs in scrims but not doing it in games and he was just suspicious tbh. Also it’s not surprising because back in 2020 he was banned for match fixing. So kind of just a scum bag.

About the Brazil league, here are my toughts: Faze: Their roster seens pretty solid and they already got 2 easy wins in Brazil league, remember that the only team who could stop them so far is the former w7m. Furia: Herdsz already said that they want more and more and that nothing changed with the org swap, but they actually lost to the new w7m this weekend. W7M: This new roster is looking pretty strong and I believe they can beat that los that reached the major final. Fluxo: Fluxo is a massive org here in Brazil and one of the biggest in the country but unfortunantelly they roster is not competitive enough, such a shame. Liquid: Liquid is not lookig convincing, we are gonna have W7M x Liquid, wich is gonna be Volpz against his old team, and if he wins its gonna prove liquid did the wrong choice. NIP: NIP is actually looking better than last major but they are still pretty unconsistent. Black dragons: They are actually playing really well and won agaisnt liquid, lets see if they can be consistent. MIBR: Nothing much to say, they are gonna play to not get relegated. E1: By far the worst team in Brazil league. VKS: They are looking better than last time but I cant say they are a good roster..
MIBR actually won against NIP that now has stemps, which is Pino's twim brother, but I cant believe they roster is good enough to be even top 5.
I personally think Keyd Stars could sneak in the major with Liquid struggling and NIP being inconsistent
Furia is fine and faze is going to keep doing their thing
@@R6EsportsInsider Furia losing to W7M is like old G2 losing to penta with sirboss
"E1: by far the worst team in Brazil league" that aged Very well!!! 😋 And VOLPZ was the Among!
W7M to furia 🔥 same staff and players but hopefully they don’t underperform under a different banner
I doubt it because Penta didn’t when they got picked up by G2
People may complain about the Brazilian crowd, but the fact that esports can get a crowd this big and this loud is a childhood dream come true.

My top four is W7M, G2, VP, and SSG
Man ik spoit is mad😂
Vpro is playing really well so far topping the group. Interested to see them and W7M in the playoffs.
Update us on today
I’ll put out a recap video of the entire event after it’s over
Great names, but I would say Herdsz top 1 withou any hesitation, without a doubt the best player in the world right now as many consider it.
He’s definitely top 10 but I think he’s a little inconsistent sometimes to be number one
Herdz overrated bro
@@zappycoco1236 What? He was MVP of the last 2 majors and is considered by many as one of the best to ever touch the game, at least from what I see in twitter and other socials.
Theres no other player to win #1 in 2023 that isnt Herdsz
@@KrigerThomas I mean just say you don’t know what your talking about it’s okay
great content 👏👏
Appreciate it bro
Like your list! Deffo agree with most the names being up there. Lobin imo has to prove himself beyond one great event, as he was much slower for los domestically, but who knows. Ima have to say: 5. Canadian 4. Cyber 3. Herdsz (idk how bro spells it) 2. Doki 1. JV92
To me Lobin has always been overlooked in his career and he finally got the recognition that he deserves. Also great list the only reason that I didn’t put herdsz in my top 5 was because I didn’t want two players from the same team in my list but he would definitely be in my top 10.
@@R6EsportsInsider Yeah that's understandable, and I hope lobin can prove me wrong in the games coming up! Looking forward to your next vid 🔥
Love the commentary man! Keep this up! I agree with most the predictions too, but im not sure about VP being number 2 in group C. However, that team can be good if they just diversify their mappool and you never know if they did that some between events and who knows maybe the Cyborg himself is gonna have another popoff SI so I get your pick for sure still!
Idk I just think VP is gonna figure what was wrong the last two majors and go deep at SI
