I'm Devon Messinger and I'm here to talk Texas Longhorns football with y'all. On this channel, you will find the DeRaud-Messinger Show, a podcast where we discuss Longhorns news. Additionally, you will be introduced to star football recruits across the state of Texas through the form of highlight videos.
Currently, I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin and have a love for the Texas Longhorns and for making random videos. Kendrick isn’t even at Texas anymore? And I’d be willing to bet that Ant Hill is 90+. Wish he was but I’d bet he’s closer to 87-88.
@@tobyvanlandingham387 Correct on Kendrick, Toby! I addressed that in the pinned comment, but we had recorded this before the transfer (I’d expect his rating to be lower now). You think Ant will be 87-88? Think you might be right. Maybe (hopefully) it raises with the in-season roster updates.
@@DevonMessinger I didn’t even see that part of the comment on Kendrick. And yes I wish Ant was a 90 just don’t think there’s anyway that will be possible. He had a great year last year for a freshman. But there were definitely a few things they’ll dock him on. He’s still a stud and game rankings won’t affect what that guy puts on the the field for us this year.

What do you think Anthony Hill Jr. & Colin Simmons will be rated in the new game? 🤘🏻 NOTE: The ratings prediction was filmed before Kendrick Blackshire's transfer to UTSA. We would likely expect his rating to now be in the low 70's for the Roadrunners.

Ewers is a 93 overall. Baker Mayfield’s stats make Ewers look meh. So a can’t over react to Ewers stats last year.

Football team should be named creepy little jerks, and the people in charge are freaking cowards. This regards the nut allergy issue. Real punks, every one who values their kid’s athletic opportunities over human safety. The real kicker was when they kept bullying after the event, and school officials, apparently too cowardly to do something real about it, took refuge in a weak definition of bullying. As for those responsible for writing such a weak definition of bullying, may you wake up to find itching powder all over your privates, it won’t satisfy your definition of harmful bullying, but it is a very solid guess that you would try to do something legal about it. Athletics are not life, only a part of it, and if this is how you teach responsibility, you really don’t belong in a position of responsibility.

Not just Texas-related, but I am really hoping for pregame content, like Hate Week comments and vids from players/fans before rivalry games against A&M or OWho, and have those games show the crowd even louder and more intense (split crowd for RRR, Aggies booing at home when Texas is on offense, Longhorns at home even louder during a night game, etc)!!! Honestly, as long as we have the players running on the field with the Texas and American flags, or an assortment of hype videos before the coin toss, would make this game well worth the wait!

Good question. Saban was a big draw in recruiting so they’re feeling the impact of his departure. I think they made a good hire though, so time will tell how long it will take them to bounce back. Thanks for the comment!
Is Texas done in the transfer portal?
Only see an issue at one of the DT spots (have Collins at the other). They have added experience everywhere else through the portal.
That's fair! I think with the added experience elsewhere, chemistry may be a slight issue early on. However, the team looks to be positioned much better than they did even a week ago. Thanks for the comment, Mark! 🤘🏻

Bo Davis did great work at Texas. It was a great pick up for LSU Texas is going to reload and get a top defensive line coach that can also recruit as far as developing players. Bo Davis was great. As far as recruiting players, not so much.
