Perfect, 100% works great. Didn’t need the small screwdriver, just wipe out the inside between the rubber gasket and the weep holes halfway up both sides. Got hair, lint and yuck out. Thank you!

So would you say it's the fuel pump if it's a crank no start situation and there is no pressure on the rail? There is no "prime" being heard when turning/cycling the key in the ignition either.

Hey, do you know how to access the pump filter, I know it has one but it's at the front but there's no way to access it I tried taking off the back panel it's at the front.. and the bottom panel won't be able to access it

There are other videos on how to check the drain filter underneath the tub. You have to remove the rear access panel. Normally, drain filter is where coins end up, etc, clogging and preventing draining. You are cleaning the front door bellow, which there are videos on removing and replacing bellow as well.

I have this exact washer but the filter is at the front of the machine but it seems like I need to take the whole front face panel off? The bottom panel doesn't seem to be in the correct position to access the filter

I just cleaned my before watching this video. I replaced the valve cover seals. While I am at it, I checked and it is 95% clogging. I used a piece of plastic to clean only. Don’t used any metal object (including metal wire brush) to clean the surface or remove carbon built up. The smooth surface need to be smooth for metal seal to work. Please be careful. In addition, he did the cleaning of the hole right at the air inlet with pushing all the built up carbon down the hold is bad. I took that whole thing out and turned it over and that hole is going to the egr valve I think. If you take it out you will see where it go and don’t want to push the carbon deposits down there. Use vacuum with very small plastic tube will help.

If you have a plastic sink used in laundry rooms, the gunk sprayed off the pieces will turn that white sink oily and brown. You'll have to use carb cleaner to wipe it off. Regular soaps won't work. Just do it outside using carb cleaners.

I leave my door open and soap tray pulled out to dry after every load. HOWEVER, I have a dog and I used to have 3. I wash the bathroom rugs and dog bed covers in the washer and the amount of hair and lint I just pulled out of there mixed with fabric softener was shocking. I knew there were holes, but without your video I could only get to the clog from inside the gasket. Now I can take it off and get it all cleaned out behind. I don’t even have the exact same washer, but this was enough to figure out what I needed.

You also need to clean out behind that white plastic part as well. Otherwise you are going to continue having the same issue. I took a wooden kabob stick and got out a blockage of hair. Just cleaning the front is not enough.

Try pressure washer to clean the cover it’s easy and much cleaner and faster too

Perfect video! Our Maxima just started having large amounts of water inside the door. We have owned it for 7 years. I found your video, and all 5 holes were clogged with hair and dirt. I pulled the hair out out with small needle nosed pliers, wiped it all down on both sides of the gasket, ran another load, and no more water! Thanks.

on a MB forum, someone mentioned there were some corrosion with the connectors on the fuel controller module.

Thanks man. I thought the sewer was backing up. I found that by shoving a tiny tiny screwdriver through the hard plastic holes revealed a build up of hard powder detergent in the hole and behind the hole. This was more satisfying than popping a zit.

Had my 02 done & mechanic hasn’t been able to seal it. It keeps allowing me to overfill the tank. Also the gas gage doesn’t work anymore. What should I do?
