How to record payments received via direct deposits from customers? Basically we don't generate invoices in Zoho books because the invoices were genrated outside of Zoho with other Massage practice software. We use zoho only to do bookkeeping: Here is our process: 1) Massage clients book appointments 2) Once treatment is finished, we invoice clients using the same booking system 3)Some clients use insurance coverage to pay for their invoice, in which case the insurance companies pay us via direct deposit. 4)All payments: Insurance direct deposit, eTransfer, credit payments etc all go to our checking account and then the transactions are auto imported into zoho books. Now, no invoices are creating for these payments in Zoho books and only payment transations are imported. so should I do: Sales>payment Received> Sales without invoice? what best way do suggest? I need to be able to run reports on these payments. Thanks

Sir, I've started my proprietorship business on Aug 2022 and has no salaried/contractual employee till date. My question is, if now I register for ESIC & PF shall I have to pay any penalty for that?
If there is no employees in your company, you don't need to register for any of these. But, you may chose to volunteer for registering if you want. There is no fine. however it will add additional compliance for filing the return for the same. I would suggest wait until your firm has enough employee strength.
