  Hi Wonderful Videos about Krita, I just found you on KZread last week. I have an issue which I hope may be you can help me out with. Issue is when i complete the artwork and group the layers to scale down using transform tool, it leaves a shadow image beneath after i scale down. Can you let me know where am i going wrong or is there any setting in Krita 5.2.2 which i have missed or must activate??❤👍

  3:14 You can increase and decrease the size of the text with the handles, once the select tool is active i.e. 'the arrow' you then need to click the tab which sys "Tool Options" (it's probably around the colour selector on the right) you will then see various options - tick the one that says " Scale Styles" you will then be able to resize just as with other selections...

  If after you save it as a.jpg, you don't see the option to also save as a .kra file, you can "save as" again and choose .kra as the file type.

  Hello is there also an option for you to unsave or change the file as JPG? if its saved already? the problem is i already saved my work. and i just noticed that the tiles were missing. basically i can no longer go back and able to modify anything in the first place. please please help me. its my first time using the app.

  There is an option to save as a KRA file as well and a jpg when you first SAVE AS, but once you SAVE AS a .jpg you will lose your layers.

  Thanks for the tutorial. This is a terrible program compared to Photoshop. The way it handles text is just plain stupid. I actually came here because I couldn't believe it worked this way but yep, it does. I don't know why developers can't just admit when a big company like Adobe does something right, and then just copy the idea and make it cheap or free. It's not illegal to copy a basic concept like that, but instead, the nerds always feel like they have to try and one-up Goliath, and that's why all these free or cheap programs are so useless. Very disappointed with Krita overall.

  For @mytube001 (I can't seem to reply directly to your comment.) I think the issue you are having is trying to use the edit shapes tool in a paint layer. The edit shapes tool can only be used in a vector layer.

  Sadly, this just doesn't work for me. The edit shape tool does nothing. I'm on Krita 5.1.3. The pointer looks right, but nothing happens at all when I click on a bezier shape, except that a second click in a row deselects the edit shape tool and reverts to the normal select tool. Krita is one of the most unintuitive programs I've tried.

  Thank you for the really helpful tutorial. Currently I’m using krita as an optional tool for a project in one of my college courses and I definitely needed this lol. I’m kinda using this as an opportunity to force myself to knuckle down and actually learn the program better since I’ve been kinda lazy about it.

  I can't see the undo and redo buttons in my krita, nor the undo docker. Does anyone know how to enable them?

  Click the Settings tab and choose Tools Bars Shown to make sure both File and Brushes are checked. If they are and you still don't see the undo and redo buttons, Go to the Setting tab again and click Configure Tool Bars. From there, drag and drop Undo and Redo from the Available Actions menu into the Current Actions menu.

  Do you mean you lost your color selection docker? If so , you may have accidentally closed it. Go to the Settings Tab and choose Dockers. Make sure you have Advanced Color Selector checked

  If you are using the Bezier Curve tool in a vector Mode, one of the tool options is fill.
