Beatus vir qui timet Dominum: In mandatis ejus volet nimis. Potens in terra erit semen ejus: Generatio rectorum, Benedicetur. Gloria et divitiae in domo ejus: Et justitia ejus manet in saeculum saeculi. Exortum est in tenebris Lumen rectis misericors, Et miserator et justus. Jucundus homo qui miseretur et commodat, Disponet sermones suos in judicio: Quia in aeternum Non commovebitur. In memoria aeterna erit justus: Ab auditione mala Non timebit. Paratum cor ejus sperare in Domino Confirmatum est cor ejus: Non commovebitur, Donec despiciat inimicos suos. Dispersit dedit pauperibus: Justitia ejus manet in saeculum saeculi: Cornu ejus exaltabiute in gloria. Peccator videbet et irascetur, Dentibus suis fremet, et tabescet Desiderium peccatorum peribit. Gloria Patri, Patri et Filio et Spiritui Sancto. Sicut erat in principio, Et nunc, Et semper. Et in saecula saeculorum. Amen.

This man's bass line is one of the more difficult one's I've had to learn. It adds a perfect touch to the choir to have a great bass player like that.

Snow Diao Snow Diao is a second-year music student at Capilano University. Her concentration instrument is Piano, and her secondary instrument is Cello. Snow also loves kalimba, photography, drawing, games, cats, singing in the choir, and playing percussionsin the band! Snow born and raised in Beijing, China and when she was fourteen, she got an opportunity to move to Canada with her mother and study here. Before she came to Canada, she had basically never gone to a piano lesson; but when she was young, she loved playing around on the digital piano her grandma bought her for her birthday. Snow started formal piano lessons about five years ago, one year after she came to Canada. Snow also joined her high school band when she was in grade eight, which inspired her to get onto the road to becoming a musician, and of course she made the right decision, because music had already become part of her.

Elizabeth Petersen Elizabeth grew up on the north shore and has always had a passion for music. She has played the violin since she was nine years old and has sung ever since she can remember. In high school, she joined her school choir and fell in love with the different music she learned. She hopes to complete the Music diploma program at Capilano University and go to UBC or Western to complete a Bachelor of Music in Performing. She hopes to perform wherever she can, whether it be opera, oratorio, or art song, and to someday teach music to younger students and help them develop a love for music as her choir director did for her.
