    Thank you so much for the info on how to easily open up the Muse, it helped me a lot! For those looking to replace the screen themselves the part number is N070ICN-GB1 by Innolux, or if you're just looking for a replacement digitizer, like me, the part number is DH-0774A1. I found a replacement on Aliexpress with part number HXD-0774A1.

    Have you had any success painting polyurethane rubber?

  • @NicoProps
    @NicoProps4 ай бұрын

    I haven't tried to be honest but I expect you would need to have a rubber-based paint with a solvent in it which would also work on the poly casting as well so they bond

    Could you mould tank tracks in 1:76 scale using this method.

  • @kevinhale9400

    Can you cast tank tracks using this method? What is the minimum thickness you can cast with this stuff? I have a few kits that are very old and the rubber of the tracks has gone very brittle and snapped. I have been searching for a method of reproducing them for my models since they look silly without tracks, lol.

    Hi Chris. I fairly recently had to replace my hybrid inverter as it went pop and I had issues with the company that supplied it. I ended up going for the Epever Upower 3000. The same as you used in this video. After seeing part 2 I was looking forward to seeing how you got on with it, as I have issues getting the inverter to stop topping up the battery charge and drawing from the mains when the battery is fully charged and the voltage is well above the values set for it to stop charging from the mains. I have it as Solar Priority and Inverter Priority but it will take a tiny amount from the battery then flip back to taking the supply from the mains. I can't find anything anywhere on this. So I'd be really interested to hear what your experiences were with this unit. Thanks.

    I believe my local maker space has a laser cutter of the same brand , I think its a newer version but does the cutting of the eva foam release anything toxic? They have an air filter hooked up to it but it does not exhaust to the outside so I want to be on the safe side and not expose anyone to toxic vapors and such. TYIA

  • @NicoProps

    honestly, you might be better off just buying solid tyres for your scooter, I did that for my 2 electric scooters. I did try some stuff called slime which is used in bicycles to help plug punctures but it didn't help.

    Great video, why do you need the separate charge controller, does the one built into the inverter not meet your requirements?

  • @NicoProps
    @NicoProps Жыл бұрын

    i didnt need it exactly, however I have and up and coming build of a windturbine and I wanted to keep that on a separate control. also in my original configuration of the solar panels the charge control on the inverter wouldn't have been able to cope with the solar at full output.

    I bought them from Amazon, if you are not able to order them online you could make then fairly easily using a white bouncy ball some of the red wool and a bit of latex with colouring in it. basically you would need to improvise, maybe use a bouncy ball make a cut in the back to stuff a load of wool in and trim to suit perhaps? there is a link in the description to the eyeball I bought on amazing, links for both UK and US amazon sites but I am sure a half decent joke or fancy dress store could help you out.

  • @NicoProps

    sorry for the delay the alert didnt come though so I have only just seen this, so if you want a matt finish you need to make sure your master has the same finish you want the finished part to have basically.
