The 2024 No. 1 ranking, Mark Allen, has a distinctly short cue action. To me it seems his forte is in around the black ball area, staying very controlled. Although maybe its more difficult to play that way....

that straight cueing at the end was insane. It looks like Kyren's head is edited to remain still. Perfection.

I may know the answer for your quiz the player a that breaks potted a red and black that 's 7 points foul for player b but he was also left with a 14 red instead of 15 so the brakes go on instead of 120 for 15 reds and 15 blacks he managed to do 112 because he only got 14 Reds and that means 14 blAcks as well plus the seven point fool that would be a 119 + 27 of the six colors that would be 146

Can I ask? Foul and miss situation. Player 1 has 50poits, player 2 had 32 point (18ahead). On table is last 3 balls (blue, pink, black). Player 1 do miss on blue ball after snooker. Is it faul and miss or only faul? Thank you for answer…

I notice that quite often, Kyrens forward swing starts slow and then really accelerates into the contact. But other times it’s a more conventional smooth arc of speed. Is their a rationale for when he uses each style?

while standing up you find the line of aim right, then you watch at the cueball then object ball and then walk in and get down. so from standing position to getting down how many times do you flick your eyes to white or object, and until your bridge hand hits the cushion, which ball you look, do you have to lock to either white object ball as you are getting down? tnx

Hello from the USA. If that was me playing for real, I would choose to sink the green ball in that first scenario you presented. In the second scenario, I mistakenly thought you may possibly have a free ball because the pink ball is where it is, assuming the reds are the balls "on." If you say it is not a free ball, however, it is not a free ball.

Hey mate, quick question none of the coaches seem to address when talking about side. What are your eyes doing? When you address a shot with side is the tip of your cue still in the center of your vision? Or is the center of the cue ball in the center of your vision? If it's the cue ball, is your cue parallel to the center line you are looking down? I'd urge you to approach a shot with this in mind to make sure. When I started thinking about this and tested it I assumed my tip would be centered but I was surprised to learn that I have the cue ball in the center of my vision with my cue slightly off parallel. I'm very curious to know if other players approach it like this, whether both ways are acceptable or if I'm dead wrong and have been doing it wrong for the last 20 years.

I don’t play snooker. I’m an amatuer pool player. But I do love billiards and want to go to the essence. After working in more than one year, finally I found my hand grip because of this video. Wonderful feeling. 15/15 stop shot, 15/15 draw shot and 14/15 follow shot. both sides. No spin. Smooth. I got it. Thank so much master. I love your all videos

In the case of the famous controversial 2023 Welsh Open game between Ronnie O’Sullivan and Ross Muir, can a non full face red obscure a full face red ? i.e. A full face red remains so, even if it is partly obscured by another red, that may itself be obscured by the pink for example ?

Where you aim and where your cue is pointing are 2 different things - I wish more coaches stressed the point. When they say aim at a point on the object ball I think it confuses many players starting the game. The line is obviously what should be the most important thing to keep focus on, so much so that you can almost entirely ignore which point you are hitting on the object ball, also because that point changes on almost every shot because of throw. If a player is concentrated on the object ball, they are less focussed on the cue line and cueing properly.
