Even with off the rack, you can't just take the first suit. You need to try on everything from many brands as they all have their own cut. In other words, don't shop at men's stores that only have their own house brand, but rather a store that stocks suits from many brands. Don't just look at fit but also at material. OK 😀 So let’s talk “culture.” Much of what you say is true. I live in Hawaii. And in Hawaii, people from the mainland do not set standards for a gentleman in Hawaii. Yes, a well made bright white dress shirt/ rolled up sleeves with solid blue or pink shorts exudes class and wealth. But I noticed one of your models wears what appears to be an understated Aloha shirt: Very appropriate and conveys a recognition of respect for Hawaiian culture. Long white pants - YES IN WINTER MONTHS - also conveys style and “old money “ especially for the young man. Let me put this another way. The Hawaii Consular Corp holds dinners and evening events at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. What would you wear, I wonder.? ?Here in Hawaii we don’t say “ciao;” it’s “Aloha.” Having moved here from Boston the topic in your video is one I have been examining here in the Islands. Actually, I find it quite fun crossing over to stylish Hawaiian. Would enjoy seeing a video across American culture societies. Remember. J.R. always wore a “proper “ cowboy hat to the office in the TV show “DALLAS!” Aloha 😎🏄🏼♂️🇺🇸🇺🇸🏖️🍍🍍

My mother came from poverty, but she always looked extremely elegant and high class...she's like a real life cinderella, when she walks in to a room...you can tell the energy would shift, people are drawn to her. She's like grace Kelly...where jewelry and expensive clothes would enhance other women, on mom they only distracted. Despite her social status she was always surrounded by "old money" not because she chased them, but because they truly enjoyed her company. She only had a handful of clothes but she saved for months and years to buy them, all this stuff about old/new money is pointless. Because even a poor woman can dress well if she has the discipline and intelligence to do it. It isn't easy, but it is a powerful skill to have.
