A lot of things have changed since I set up this channel. I am now mainly painting the glasses to create videos, but plan to start selling them after the videos are created.
My husband and I created the idea of adding personalized wire to wooden hangers, back in 2010. I am planning to start selling my own hangers, getting away from the once that are made outside of the United States.
We also sell large wooden letters, custom signs, wedding signs, and more. The letters make a wonderful alternative guest book for many special occasions.
As I continue to find new interests, I will be sharing them with you. If I can make something special for you, please let me know. I am always up for the challenge. Please contact me either through my KZread channel or here: [email protected].

Acrylic paint??? That wont hold up..
I have painted thousands of pieces of glassware ... This paint is Enamel paint by FolkArt, which is still acrylic paint. Is a formula created for glass painting.
Beautiful ! Ur Strokes r soo Effortless n artistic .❤ Will Try. Can beginners have d same Result ?
Maybe??? They are pretty basic strokes. Don't give up, if yours doesn't. Keep practicing!
Always love your flowers and sunflowers are my favorite! Thanks Amy! 🌻
You are so welcome!
The acrylic paints you use on glass, how do you wash them? MINE CAME OFF... DO you not use glass paint?
Can I hear waves in background. Beauty flowers.
Thank you!
Amy have you ever done any butterfly painting on glass bottles?
I don't think that I have...I have painted them before...I will see what I can come up with. I am now just trying out painting on Corian to keep the glare down, but any of my designs can be painted on other surfaces. Thanks for the idea!
Since you are using a lot of enamel paint you might as well use nail polish and always wear a mask and work in a well ventilated area to get rid of the fumes
You must not be familiar with FolkArt paints. They are non-toxic and what you suggested is not required.
@@AmyRessa Fine but Folk Art paints are more expensive that dollar store nail polish.I'm glad that Folk Art got all the toxic chemicals (and fumes) out of their enamel paint
Very relaxing and relieves tension. Thank you💙
You're welcome 😊
I m going to do this! Thank you!
Let me know how it turns out!
You do amazing leaves too and thank you so much for the help ❤️
I hope this helps! Thank you!
You are the best Amy 💕💕💕
Yes
Love your flowers….always have! ❤🌸
Thanks so much 😊
I so wish I could master that petal technique
Have you ever sat down and just practiced on waxed paper or glass? I am pretty lazy with my technique, but once you train your hand, you will be good to go!
@AmyRessa oh yes a lot. 😊
Yeaaaaa more painting so excited!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Yes please. More, more and more bottle painting. ❤
I may be painting on Corian right now, but the designs can be painting on bottles or other surfaces...I hope that helps!
I’ve missed your floral bottle paintings. Thank you for posting this. 😊
My pleasure 😊 I am trying to do this along with the sound baths....
Amy, on your centers main color did you use the green color, it looks kind of green on the video. Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks for your question. I think I did use a green. There information should be listed below the video and actually in the video. Thanks!
@@AmyRessa okay yes it looks like maybe the moss green. You just didn't say when you started using it. But it definitely didn't look like the bumblebee. Thank you 💕
Love this one ❤
Thank you! You are so kind!!
Any varnish on the wine glass??
Thanks for your question. You do not have to use anything on this painted glassware, unless you want to. I often use Mod Podge dishwasher safe formula to coat the painted part. ~Amy
Beautiful!! ❤❤
Thank you! 😊
What liquid should we use to treat the glass before painting?
Thank you for your question. There is no need to treat the glass prior to painting if you are using the FolkArt Enamels or Multi-Surface paints. Just make sure you clean the glass and wipe off with denatured rubbing alcohol prior to painting. After you bake or air dry, you can place a coating of something like Mod Podge the dishwasher safe formula, but it isn't required. I hope this help!
Wish you were doing painting videos 😢
I appreciate that....I have done the painting for so long. I have moved in a different direction, not to say I won't be doing them anymore....Who knows???
@AmyRessa I hope so. I have so many of yours saved. You really helped me a lot, being I just started painting in December. I've actually sold quite a few and working on an order of 8 right now. I still can't believe it myself, but thank you so much. Like I said you and your videos have helped me so much. Who says you can't teach a 69yr old new things. Have a great day 💕
Beautiful! It reminds me of waking up early as a child and laying on the porch while watching the world wake up. It was cool and the dew made everything shine. I’m 75 now and want to thank you for the precious but almost forgotten memories❣️
Glad you enjoyed it! How wonderful. Thanks for sharing. I appreciate the kind words.
Is there a special glass I need to get or any wine glass will work?
Thanks for your question. Pretty much any will do. Something from the dollar store would be great!
Love your style!
Thank you!!
Goog Gone works great for getting labels off.
Your instructions are easy to follow and your examples are great!!!
Beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I love it‼️ my grandkids will love painting one too! It will make excellent special gifts for their mothers❣️ Thank you
That sounds wonderful...Enjoy!!
Yes, you Mae it look so simple,,, I will try, Thanks
You can do it!
Do you put fairy lights in your bottle??
Yes! I have made some like that ...They are awesome and great mood lighting....
You used multi use craft paint? Mine is looking terrible on this glass bottle! Any suggestions??
Are you using Folk Art Enamels or Multi-Surface paints?
Love this!
Thank you!
How do you seal?
This paint does not require it to be sealed. If you want you can coat over the painted parts with Mod Podge the dishwasher safe formula. Thanks!
WHERE WOULD ANYONE BE WITHOUT DONNA DEWBERRY... 😂😂😂😂😂
Great question!!
@@AmyRessa 🥰
Very beautiful meditation sounds 1
Thanks for listening
Love this. Hope I can find some 😊
Good luck!!
Amy I follow all your paintings do you have any easy butterfly videos? Please and thank you 💕
Thanks for following. I am not really creating painting videos much anymore. I may have created a butterfly in the past, but I do not recall it. So sorry!
Nice your art.can u learn me
You make this look so easy and for some reason I struggle with this and the leaves. 😢
It can take a lot of practice. I would get some waxed paper or play paper and just keep practicing. It is a matter of training your hand. Thanks!
Love it. Wish I could figure out the leaves 😢
You can do it!
I love the gold with the pink. So pretty. Edit: I meant red. It looked pink on my screen.
Amy I asked some questions in a comment, could you please read. Thank you
This was such a beautiful tutorial. I was looking for a sunflower design I could paint as a birthday gift, and I found your video. Thank you for posting this.
You are so welcome!
Amy, I did flowers like this, with white, creamcycle and gold. They turned out beautiful. My favorite so far and then I ruined them with the leaves I did and don't know what to do now, to salvage it. I just started painting in December. I'm so upset 😕 do I just take it all off and start over? And easiest way to get all the paint off 😢
Please answer 😊
Sorry to hear that!! I know how it feels. I would just wash off and start over, but practice the leaves before doing so.
Okay Thank you ❤@AmyRessa
YEs!!!
Beautiful... then you bake it or just let it dry
Thank you! You could do either way. It does cure after 21 days of air-drying....~Amy
Love this one!!!
Thank you! I appreciate it...
Love your videos are so helpful ❤
Glad you like them!
