  You're supposed to wash the rice out until the water runs as starch free then start cooking it.

  Nah, the better way is to cook it on the stove like this! Try it! Cook it until most of the rice turns a solid white! I used to do, like, 7 rinses. The method shown here is way better for dealing with the starch than rinsing!

  @@KitchenAlchemy-AP no worries! Just cook it in oil or butter until the grains turn white, a small percentage of them turning a bit brown :)
