Polaroids of the Pyramids
Polaroids of the Pyramids
Polaroids of the Pyramids is a music project based outside of Atlanta, GA (USA). My music has its roots in the early days of techno-pop, specializing in instrumental tracks with a beat. Everything happens for a reason because the happening is the reason. Enjoy!

I am so happy
Oh man ! That's insane ! I think some of those keyboards are UNDER $100. Great job.
These sounds actually sound good in this recording, other than that horrible snare sound. That snare is just sooo baaad!
I'm 65 and just got whiplash going back so far so fast. Had the little Casio VL-Tone and two other larger Casio keyboards I don't remember the models.
Great 😎
This is amazing. Like old-school KZread. Love it.
Awesome ❤
sounds like a 60s guitar...
Nice!!!
awesome
Sir, you won music on KZread. This made me grin like an Idiot for one hour straight. The drums and the bass parts hit so very hard. ❤
Genius. Where did you get those old keyboards.
Ah, a VL Tone! I used mine in the school orchestra until batteries started to go and it went out of tune according to the glare i received from the teacher...😅😅
What a bunch of phony no talent bulshit can you people have too much time on your hands the real songs we're done with the 10,000 emu synthesizer
Awesome, this up there with Orkestra Obsolete
Nice! I traveled back to the 80s when I bought my LPs and heard these songs all weekend long.
Thanks for taking me back to 85 🤣🫡‼️. I still have my boom box
I think Im more impressed by the collection of working Casio musical instruments than I am the song, and you did a great job on the song.
One of the best tunes ever made.
This was a great rock band song to play
This is awesome
Still waiting for Andy McCluskey's vocals to start! 😊
Ha ha - that would be amazing!
O, I love this!...
How the hell did this end up in my feed? Brilliant homage to the original, well done.
Nicely done :)
Blue Monday got me here…. New subscriber.. love what you’re doing. Great sound. Good luck. Just followed you on Spotify too
Thanks - I appreciate it!
Good job.
Wow!!!! Amazing!!! Stunning!!!!!❤😊
The sounds of my childhood. I recognise a synthesiser one of my older cousin had at the 80s🥹🥲
Yeah, I had one.
Me too. Ok, she was fat and ugly but I had a GF once 🤷♂️... Edit: Wait! What were you talking about?
@@elijahfluw4347 😭 She went through batteries like no one's business... Wait... what were we talking about?
@@socal33 uh, uh, I was talking about Getronic Fusion. A cheap chinese 16-Voice keyboard 🫣.
@@elijahfluw4347 Phew! So was I. We're all good then.
@@socal33 (inhales) Whoahahahahaha 😂
ALL STYLES OF MUSIC!
I've been playing Casiotone-701 since 1982 and still do 😄
Oh my god, this is incredible!
It's not the instrument. It's the musician. 😀 Great cover!!
OMG those electronic sticks; I had forgotten all about those. Thanks so much for this, it really made my day!
Not far removed from Kraftwerk and their homemade instruments. Some work went into all of that!
I had a VL-Tone as a kid, think I still have it and it works as well. Might try to find it this weekend.
Those instruments brought back memories! I owned many of them in The Day.
Thanks. Really liked this.
Happy to see our childhood keyboard, the MT-65 :) Absolutely love that thing. My brother used it on several albums.
You took this Gen-Xer back to better days for 3+ minutes. Thank you.
Outstanding! I gasped when the video started and you pressed that button on the HT700. I still have mine (not sure it works though), and back in the day I programmed the same beat on it, using several programs for the different parts of the song. Feeling nostalgic now. 😀
This is a bit rude. My parents bought me that Casio at 0:14 back at the day. So, I'm now vintage?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Encore!!! 😲 the thought, creativity, layering and detail it takes to make electronic music is maddeningly under appreciated.
They got it to sound even more 80’s
Amazing how a track composed to test a new drum machine still inspires new takes decades later. Casio need to send you a watch for this great advert!
I had a Casio watch- does that count?
Gawd, I had that HT-700 back in the day.
What a happy find I stumbled upon tonight! Thank you, KZread for recommending it. Great song, great talent, cool video. I'm 56 and the 80s never get old. My daughter says I'm stuck in time and I say YES!
Bravo! Now if he was wearing a Casio watch with the phone dialer that would be bitchin'. Nice job!!!
