  You made my day! you know I've been in medical billing from last 7 years, working hard all day and i love my work. But you have absolutely changed my way of thinking. You better know we work so hard and everyday is not same as multiple challanges in medical billing but I never thought I'll enjoy watching you working rather than watching a movie.   I actually don’t work with my son. He’s in school, this day there was no school for him. My advice would be keep them busy and entertained. I’m not on the phones, so on the days where he doesn’t have school, I have him watch tv for a couple of hours, nap, and have play time.

  I am currently taking online classes for my medical billing and coding certificate. i want to do more of the billing part of it but i dont know where to start when it comes to looking for a job. Ive looked on Indeed and stuff like that but there are not a lot or any entry level billing positions. How did you find your job? Do you know of any legit employee opportunities? Im in Virginia if that helps

  Hello!! I’m seriously considering taking a medical billing course. Is it difficult to pass the certification?? I took medical coding some years ago and didn’t pass the timed certification. I love coding and did well in my class. I’m really considering this course now. Please give honest and blunt feedback on your thoughts and experience passing the certification.   Hi, I would definitely recommend you taking a course. As far as the test goes, I took it 4 years ago, in my opinion it was long not necessarily hard. I would suggest studying and doing practice exams to prepare your self for it. I always feel like it’s a mental thing going into anything, I never told myself that it was hard I just did a lot of practice exams and kept a positive mindset.

  I have a question. I’m new to the field and work with a company that works with different doctors but we’re not in the office. So when it comes to the portals we usually have to ask the offices for their log in information and security codes but there’s this office that the staff is constantly getting upset when we call for this information to access the portals. Can I create my own portal access and have all my doctors on the one portal? I know for Medicare we can’t put multiple doctors but for portals like Availity and United healthcare can it be done? Thank you!

  Hi, omg that sucks they should give you guys individual access. You can, but the only thing is that an admin for the company that you work for would have to give you access to the portal. You can register for the portals but an admin would have to give you access to be able to login into them.

  OMG! I feel like I didn't learn anything from my coding & billing program. I think they just teach to get you by, but doesn't teach for you to actually learn and retain the information. I got way more understanding from this video than the program. You mentioned quality over quantity, which I 💯 agree. Is there an amount that you have to complete by the end of the day/week? Yes, I like this video style because I'm in the same field and I enjoy the information.

But do you recommend any medical billing course that could assist with all those different commercial insurances? I've been in the medical field since I was 17. But health insurance companies have only gotten more complicated with time... Any help would be appreciated. ❤ Ty so much for sharing.   Tbh the courses don’t really dive into each insurances. To really learn about the different insurances comes with the job, that’s how I was able to learn. Till this day I’m still learning new things about insurances. Congratulations on your new journey best of luck.
