BUT OMG I loved My Lady Jane and so I am actually incredibly excited to watch pwmov with Emily Bader, even though I didn't love the book I feel like the show/movie will be entertaining. but oooh interesting! Ya Happy Place just felt forgettable.

@@Sullsworld that is a definite perk . I like the organisational aspect of it, for me , I would enjoy having the books I am currently reading on the top shelf with tbr books on lower shelves . Just knowing that they are all there and I don't have to think about it . That thought makes me happy .

Also 100% agree about Pride and Prejudice, I’m actually re-reading it right now and it’s so much more enjoyable having already read it and watched the movie 😊

A romance book that I have read recently and that I very much liked was REd White and Royal blue by Casey Mcquiston , its an LGBTQ Romance story and I really enjoyed it . Thank you for sharing your adventures with us ( and the many cats too !!) . I currently have three books to read and I have not as of yet had a chance to start them as other stuff has intervened but I will get to them . Books ( Physical books ) have become very expensive in Australia also , ( thats were I am ). And in answer to your questions I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the books as you read them and perhaps if you thoughts have changed at the end of the month during your recap. I appreciated your cat treasure hunt too ❤ I also also agree that you should switch books if its not working for you at the time , Ive done that a number of times .

@@Sullsworld i did not know it was a film too so thank you for that info . I have been buying a lot less physical books than I used to and much more using the local library instead . I would also recommend another Casey Mcquiston book Last stop about a young woman who meets a young woman on a train but that woman ( the one on the train ) is stuck in a different dimension . I don't think I explained that well but it is a good read .

Good luck with your Emily Henry books! The only one I’ve read is PWMOV as you’re the first person I’ve seen that didn’t totally gush over one other books. I’ll be excited to see what you think (either way it goes for you lol). I think the only other one I would consider reading would be Beach Read. The “broke staying in a beach house” aka Hallmark Magic should be interesting lol. I hope you find some really good ones in the mix and I’ll be looking forward to your ranking! Maybe it will inspire me to try another one 😊 I just found out about Fable and was going to download it!

And I actually feel like an a-hole in regards to the main female characters circumstances as to how she is broke in a beach house now that I’ve started the book 😂 (not what I was expecting). I’m excited to see what my findings are at the end of the month though so thank you!! Emily Henry is one of my favvv authors!! People love her for her banter and women's fiction elements almost more than the actual romance and thats def the case for me. Beach Read and Funny Story are my top favs by her, because I relate to the characters so much. I think all the others are sort of equal in my mind as not really loving them but not hating them either! I want to re-read People We Meet On Vacation this summer because it was my first Emily Henry book and I didn't have an appreciation for her writing at the time, so I want to go in with fresh eyes!!

I think I would find this hard to answer also , I have only recently started collating a list of books I have read this year . I know I have read a lot less this year than previous years . As for goals just read more , enjoy doing so .

A romance book that I have read recently and that I very much liked was REd White and Royal blue by Casey Mcquiston , its an LGBTQ Romance story and I really enjoyed it . Thank you for sharing your adventures with us ( and the many cats too !!) . I currently have three books to read and I have not as of yet had a chance to start them as other stuff has intervened but I will get to them . Books ( Physical books ) have become very expensive in Australia also , ( thats were I am ). And in answer to your questions I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the books as you read them and perhaps if you thoughts have changed at the end of the month during your recap. I appreciated your cat treasure hunt too ❤ I also also agree that you should switch books if its not working for you at the time , Ive done that a number of times .
@@frithkin I’ve heard so many good things about red white and royal blue! I watched the movie before I realized it was a book so I’d love to read it. Definitely hope you get a chance to read your 3 books! And it’s too bad in a way, I love physical books but maybe it’ll push people to the library or e readers instead? But thank you! @@Sullsworld i did not know it was a film too so thank you for that info . I have been buying a lot less physical books than I used to and much more using the local library instead . I would also recommend another Casey Mcquiston book Last stop about a young woman who meets a young woman on a train but that woman ( the one on the train ) is stuck in a different dimension . I don't think I explained that well but it is a good read .

Good luck with your Emily Henry books! The only one I’ve read is PWMOV as you’re the first person I’ve seen that didn’t totally gush over one other books. I’ll be excited to see what you think (either way it goes for you lol). I think the only other one I would consider reading would be Beach Read. The “broke staying in a beach house” aka Hallmark Magic should be interesting lol. I hope you find some really good ones in the mix and I’ll be looking forward to your ranking! Maybe it will inspire me to try another one 😊 I just found out about Fable and was going to download it!

Emily Henry is one of my favvv authors!! People love her for her banter and women's fiction elements almost more than the actual romance and thats def the case for me. Beach Read and Funny Story are my top favs by her, because I relate to the characters so much. I think all the others are sort of equal in my mind as not really loving them but not hating them either! I want to re-read People We Meet On Vacation this summer because it was my first Emily Henry book and I didn't have an appreciation for her writing at the time, so I want to go in with fresh eyes!!
