These were not 6.2's and they were also not made by Detroit Diesel They really sucked when it came to power even worse than an NA 6.2 I remember i almost bought one when I got my first truck in 1980, the dealer had a K-10 LB but it was gone by the time I came back Probably a good thing I ended up with a 1/2 ton LB Scottsdale with a 305 which was no monster in the HP department either

Thanks for the input. I was torn between going in-depth vs. keeping it short. On our first walkthrough, we spent about 2 hours looking at everything, so maybe we will try making both an in-depth video with our dialog, and a quick & quiet walkthrough video at the end. Hope you enjoyed it!

I can vouch that this museum is extremely well done, unique and worth the trip. I retired from a career at the Smithsonian Institution and have visited a lot of museums. This is in my top 10 in the USA. You can make a terrific vacation out of visiting the motoring museums in Michigan and Indiana. (My favorite museum of Americana is Warp's Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska.)

Those are the best sort of vehicles. They were everywhere… and then they weren’t. Like Checker Cabs, with only 500-1000 estimated to be left in the world. I’m glad someone took the time to preserve one for future generations to see!

There were a lot of Studebaker pickups in the salvage yards they'd probably been there for 10 years before we got to him and this would have been in the mid-70s through about 1990. Now everything is been picked through at salvage yards even the worst of crashes have been restored.
