Ooh some good ideas that I fancy trying, never mind my little one! When I worked in nursery we always encouraged children to stand up for playdough to help strengthen arms and shoulders, so that would make sense to sit down to strengthen fine motor control 😊

Yeh they are still brilliant. Occasionally they do snap when they are put at an angle (leant against a chair) and then a child accidentally steps on it but it's so easy to fix- just need a small piece of wooden dowling. Definitely worth the money in my opinion x

I've been homeschooling my 6 year old since Easter. We use reading eggs app. Regarding the other subjects I have been basing it around a books at the moment we are learning nature. My daughter is so much happier. I have been thinking of using the good, beautiful English.

Reading eggs is brilliant for our childrens ages. Daily games of phonics and reading. They take an assessment at the beginning to put them on the right stage. I started with a free 30 day. I highly recommend

I haven't ever struggled to find children to look after as there aren't enough childminders here. However, I think it depends on where you live and the demand there. It's the best earning job I've had!

Starting home ed with my 2 kids in September and always thinking about how I'm going to make income around it 😅

Hi! I started the channel cos I couldn't find many home ed ditl's, so glad you found mine. I've been homeschooling for about 18months and doing after school childminding for just over a year, it works so well together. Certainly where I live parents always need after school and holiday childcare as there's not much on offer.
