Hi RCDC, just curious how is your latency on this relay? i tried 2 different frsky RXes (X8R and jumper R1-D16) and not to happy with relay and "glitching" of plane controls (servos). I am connecting via SBUS - these days DL V3 accepts SBUS on input1

Have you been able to pass telemetry - received back to the Dragonlink tx from the aircraft, back to the Frsky receiver smartport, so that it can be seen on the QX7 ?

Do you think it’s possible to place the two receivers (for me 2 times 5,8ghz receiver) like 20m apart? So, receiver one right next to the EagleEyes and receiver two 20 meter away from the EagleEyes.

How well does the Eagletree system switch antenna feeds? Do you see a definitive blip in your goggles or is it a pretty smooth transition?
its good. put it this way, its far better than having your video slowly crap out because your flying out of the beam :)
That was real good! I'm planning on basically the same setup but instead of your patch antenna, I'll be using a 5 turn helical. I just wasn't real sure how to place the components but, after watching your video, the setup should be very similar. Thanks for sharing!!

I can't get this to work on my Taranis, DL v2 & X8r.... ANY suggestions? X8r & DL binds just fine to Taranis, but DL receiver has no signals or movement from servos?
if you plug your DL into the taranis directly does it work?. if so then might be that the x8r is not putting out PPM or SBUS. check that and check that your DL is set for what your going to set the X8R to e.g. SUBS or PPM. let me know how you go dude
I have the DL V2 so what I needed was a SUBS to CPPM Converter. Thanks!

Hi, If you mean why do i like the vector, its because its easy to setup, no soldering required, can be removed easy if needed and works every time. never had one fail. hope that helps
Yeah still use a few myself and it's my "go to" FC. Do you run telemetry through the dragonlink for it? Also how reliable are you finding the sunnysky motors as ive never used them?
never had an issue with sunnysky motors on a plane. i dont use the telemetry becasue i use a 433mhz to 2.4ghz relay and have not bothered to get the telem to work yet. this is my relay. kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4Wm1LWRhcTdYZM.html

eagle eyes, 2x 1.3ghz recivers, any 5.8 transmitter, two differt 1.3 antenna, 12v bec, 5v bec, battery, wire and plugs and your away
What kind of connector are u using for power up the eagle eyes? I got issues with mine

Could you show a wiring drawing of how you made the video out (from the Eagle Eyes) to the 5.8Ghz vtx?
I can do soon but all you need to do is plug a AV cable into the eagle eyes video out. Then cut the other end and solder it to the video in wire on your VTX

nope, works with any flight controller, dont even need a FC. just needs a video signal to work :)

Great video, thanks. As far as the wires go coming from your Dragon like what channel do you plug into on your receiver? Or do you just plug in the same for SBus just using ppm?
Cheers, yes you just plug into the FRsky receiver as if you were plugging into a PPM flight controller. I think some recivers need a jumper on them to make them run in PPM mode. the Dragon Link just needs a normal PPM signal from the receiver the same as any mini quad flight controller. let me know if you need any more info.
