I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for....

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

@@KellyClarkson122 The crazy part is that those advisors are probably outperforming the market and raising good returns but some are charging fees over fees that drain your portfolio. Is this the case with yours too?

To garrettblaster, there’s a reason why one shouldn’t go 30-40 kmh over the speed limit in the USA, or anywhere for that matter. That’s not “freedom”.

Horse milk was a national drink in Kz 200-300 years ago. These days you need to try to find it in the capital which is called Astana (the Capital) again. People at home usually drink regular "Indian" black or green tea, and yes India is almost the same size but bigger

The high Taxes also pay for health care and school . A visit to the doctor is 170 SEK, about 17 USD and school is free up to university, where you have to pay for books, but the courses are free.

Canton of Schwyz is like one of the most conservative canton. It has a lot of farmers and if you can't speak German there, people will dislike you for it. There's a higher possibility that you won't build up a social circle than other cantons there.

Concerning the language barrier: A big part of English vocabulary is actually from Greek. By learning Greek, you can have access to the oldest recorded language of Europe and one of the most influential.

If you live in Italy, you are a citizen of the EU. That is a huge benefit of being Italian. People who are natives of a country know all about the things they hate about their country that no one else can really understand. Familiarity often breeds contempt. Nowhere is perfect.

The lack of sunlight doesn't bother me at all (I live in Denmark). You get used to it, I think. Perhaps keep in mind that Scandinavian culture is a bit introverted and reserved. People are nice, but not very open and spontaneous. Personally I love it, but if you are from a country with an expressive and extraverted culture (like Southern Europe fx) you might feel a bit lonely and isolated in Scandinavia.

I live in a rural area in West Virginia. There is a train station within walking distance but it is only for coal, so you can't ride it unless you are very brave. I would say that education is pretty equal most places in the USA. You can get pretty much the same education at a community college for a lower price. Racial tensions vary quite a lot by region. It is very difficult to get decent food in the USA, especially in rural areas. Most of West Virginia is food desert. You can't just "eat healthy" unless you live near a decent grocery store. Most areas in the USA are more than an hour drive from the nearest grocery store in terms of land area.

Very good and objective video! But you committed a mistake saying that Florianópolis is the safest city in Brazil! It is not! Among the state capitals and Florianópolis is one of them, São Paulo city is the safesT and criminal rates are lowwer every year! Now in 2024, the murder rate in São Paulo is only 5,8 per 100.000 inhabitants, lower than most big American cities!
