  I tried it around 0.4 and thought very little of it, but decided to give it another go at 0.7. It's now easily in my top 5 and has one of the best soundtracks right after BaD.

  This is one hell of an intro for the player, ngl One second, everything's all bright and colorful when you're transferring to a new home and all of a sudden you get a dream of a mysterious figure telling you that you have to save them of an unknown reason as to why.

  Eyyyy Tremolo's doing Eternum! Side note : Around 2 years ago, I've played Eternum for the first time and for some reason I thought it was corny or something and I didn't finish playing it for some reason. Fast-forward now, I completed the recent update of Eternum around May and lemme tell ya that this AVN is instantly one of my top 3 favorites now! I'm telling you right now to go check it out, the characters, writing, world building are just so damn good.

  Locked room theory. It's a nursery. My theory is she was pregnant and miscarried. James became resentful or slowly fell out of love with her over it. In a moment of weakness, he cheated on her. She found out, and, as you saw at the beginning of 10, with the Christmas background, a plate looked like it was thrown. Wouldn't be surprised if the shadow from the door was him taking one last look after she told him to get out. I think she's lying when she told Tremolo in 10 when she said he 'went missing' on that charity work or whatever because she still can't face what happened. Plus, there were a couple spots that wouldn't make sense if he was simply missing. In an early episode (forget which), she's at the library. It's the scene where Tremolo shows up and she doesn't notice him but thinks he's the nerd who was just asking where a book was and screamed at him. Before the nerd showed up, she was thinking to herself 'I forgive you, please come home'. If someone goes missing, what's to forgive? You'd just say please come home. Also, if you get her to come help clean the library at the DIK mansion, she stays the night. Before she falls asleep, she's panicking about how she's become the thing she hates - an adulterer. It explicitly says this. So, yeah.

  I saw a post somewhere that a lot of people call this Lily's heart eyes scene and I could never figure out what they were talking about until 1:35. The reflection of the lights in the room, if you look closely, look like hearts. It's so fucking subtle. Goddamn, DPC is a madlad.

  It's not what happened, it's what's been happening all his life that catches up with Derek in the moment. In these scenes, the MC and Derek successfully accomplish their goals after almost failing, and Derek confides something in the MC that he hasn't even told his twin sister. Life has taken a dump on Derek's family. He's trying to do the right thing even when there is no easy way to do that. The fact that the MC stood by him and his sister when he's had no one else to help carry the burden overwhelms him. If you've played the interlude then you should theoretically have access to Ep9 and Ep10. They feel shorter than all the other seasons but that's because there is so much packed in to a very short period of time. (Ep9 is mostly about one night, a party at the DIK mansion. Ep10 is mostly about Maya's family and "the loan she cosigned with her dad." Which I put in quotes because it's not clear yet that it's an actual student loan, or that she's actually obligated to anything. On the other hand, she also desperately needs the money in order to attend college, however her father arranged for the college funding.)

  Scenes like these are what lift being a DIK above being simply just another AVN. Drpinkcake is a seriously talented script writer and even though not always perfect, sometimes they really nail the facial expressions in terms of portraying emotions.
