  I think we all have a little misconception when it comes to makeup matching. So I wanted to add a comment to this issue. I love the emphasis about the shade matching HER and they can all blend in very well but it has to match HER. Love this!!! 💕 Such great advice about applying it on the body too 😊

  I love this video. Of course the technique is perfect and the model had beautiful skin to begin with. The Laura Mercier brand powder puff doesn't fit inside the jar for the setting powder. So I bought cheaper powder puffs that will fit.

  I finally am using it right. For whatever reason, didn't occur to prime first and it was coming out all blotchy and uneven. When I used Shiseido Powdery Foundation before they stupidly discontinued it, I never applied anything before using it. Anyway, this morning decided to research how to use this Laura Mercier gem and what a difference! Didn't even know you could use it wet too 😸

  I love a good matte look. Especailly for special occasions and photo-op nights. But that sheer- natural looking skin? Chef's kiss. Matte can sometimes add a certain age to the face that dimishes natural beauty! Ugh such a #love/hate
