Cali is def one of the best places to skate, but to live in cali, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I started DH in cali, it was so rad, so much choices and variety. Especially with Cali being the most populated places in Usa, so many skaters and they are all rad and loving to skate more.

Ha, cool. I like the bump drafting. I was beaten down Cypress by a cyclist just once; dude was a little heavier and had a great tuck with chin on the handlebars.

One of the funnest spot I got to ride, that was sooo long ago though... But yes, please, respect what Papy Nono said... The Gendarmerie is not too keen on seing riders there... You HAVE to stop before the houses. You HAVE to... And it's an early morning spot only too... It changed alot since the time of SC8 videos, when we could just go and ride anytime we wanted. They apparently don't enforce the rules so much, but if you want north american riders to be welcome in France when they race there and not create a shitstorm like it happened before with Kevin on Izoard, try to learn in advance when and until where to ride ;) Nice video nonetheless! No problem with anyone while we were there, it was mid-week, not a weekend. As long as I'm safe there shouldn't be any problems. Same as cyclists and everyone else on the road.

Andrew Chapman I don't think you understand my point... I skate too and rode with you more than a couple times in Vancouver or in Europe. It's not about being safe or anything, I know you are, it's about being there and going that far down the road. There is a bylaw on this specific road against skateboarders. Cops somewhat tolerate us if we ride early morning and stop before the houses, week end or not. Keep skating there, but do it at the right time and stop before the houses, is all I'm saying.

Fuck !!! I know you Andrew and I know you're a good rider (we met in some IGSA races like Peyragudes). But ! Some basic rules to apply when you come to ride one of the best spot in France (for all) : 1) Don't ride it after 9 am ! When I see the number of vehicules and bicycles you cross, it's for sure later. 2) Please stop before the first houses ! 18 km aren't enough ? I remeber you that there is an interdiction for longskates for years on this side of this pass (North side). We still are tolerated before 9, so... Please don't come to kill definitly this fabulous spot !!! Thanks Papy Nono

nope, longer wheelbase just helps if you get speed wobbles because if you do, the baord is less responsive, making it less twitchy and preventing you from being thrown off
