Hey I have a question I’m using a I Mac and black magic recorder for the camera via thunder bolt , and using a Mac mini and ultra studio monitor (black magic ) via thunderbolt . Can I just use the Mac mini for everything instead of the iMac and obs ?

Greeting....I have a Atem Mini pro installed in the church where i handle the streaming. Is there a way where i can access the atem mini pro from my home. sometime the priests or other people accidently touch the wrong button and they always call me. are you able to provide a solution to this? thank you and nice demo.
@@josehernandez5396 You would need to leave a computer on, that is connected to the ATEM on the Local Network. Then Remote Desktop to that computer when you want to control the ATEM. -Nathan R
I'm assumming you have to have everything on both computers for this exporting/sharing to function properly. Just seems unintuitive and that offering cloud storage at an extra fee would make this much easier.
@@bryanbrammer4353 Cloud storage will likely come in the future, now that they have switched over to the new model. With the Subscription and User Accounts, these were changes needed to get to a future with things like cloud storage.

For me SDI is certainly not cheaper than HDMI fibre. Looking at a 30 meter connection and assuming a decent cable brand like Canare L-4.5CHWS, I'm paying $200AUD, and that's shopping around. Add a Blackmagic converter ($110AUD) on each end and my total is $420AUD ($275USD) In comparison I can by a Cruxtec 30 meter Optical HDMI cable for $95AUD ($62USD)

Yes. There is an AuxOut tab, where you can grab the S16 input from the "direct input" source, from the console channels. -Nathan R

Adobe is already the dodo bird going extinct and along comes this BS ( I hate subscriptions I quit them all and only use stuff I can buy and rely on being there) - subscriptions only provide value to the Company _ We want perpetual software, or at least 3-5yrs of updates 1 is too and this is what sold us on this. Subscriptions fail when you need them most, and you're paying when you don't need it. This hurts all artists. Desire for this is gone. no convincing

Due to the cost of everything going up, it’s understandable that they may increase the price at some point though. So here is one for you I have a 2 videos same back ground video one with lyrics and one without. Now the lyrics are embedded in the video to ensure timing. The lyrics are on the stage display so the performers can keep in time with the visual. The background audio of the main screen video will be different to the audio being sent to the performers ears. So I would like to different videos to two different destinations with 2 different audios to two different destinations. We have Dante virtual soundcard on the presentation computer to send audio to the mixer
Hi, Either the band needs to be playing with the Background tracks coming from the video in ProPresenter, you could even add click and cues to another track and send it to there ears. To send audio from ProPresenter to Dante, select Dante as the Main Audio Output, ProPresenter by default has 2 channels of audio, so you might want to up that, then send one video to one channel, and the second video to the second channel. To split the lyrics into multiple slides in Windows, place the cursor at the end of the last word and press Ctrl + Enter.

My playback is terrible with pops, clicks and crackles. Records fine but sending back to the mixer sounds awful now we can't livestream church service😢.

ProPresenter works great on PC, When they Re-Built it from the ground up back in 2020, they specifically wrote a NEW version for both Mac and PC. The Videos of the Screen Config page from Macs should help you with what you're looking for on PC. -Nathan R

Thanks for this very useful advice. I just bought a Canon XA60 and was shocked to find out it only has mini hdmi out and no sdi whatsoever. I need it for streaming a church service on Facebook in a small building where about 30m of cable should cover it. I would appreciate advice on the simplest and most cost effective way to achieve this, thanks.

no, as I stated in this video, I was able to extend the desktop to a simngle Apple TV, but there is no way to connect and extend to multiple apple tvs. -Nathan

I use an X32 full board as my mixer, i also have a gopro 12 & an insta 360 ace pro along with 2 android phones, i'd like to live stream my bands rehearsals via Facebook & or Twitch, will this switcher work for what i'd like it to do, & if so, maybe a simple explanation on how to connect all this, thank you
Hi, It should just be a matter of getting cables from the different devices that convert to HDMI-A. That should be a straight forward proccess on Amazon. Yes the ATEm switcher should work fine, these have scalers built into each input that allow for different reolution cameras to be connected. -Nathan

Hi, I listed a bunch of stuff in the description of this video. I will not recommend buying New PTZOptics cameras, If you can find a used set, it's still not worth it but at least they are not full price. Canon CR-N300 or N500 is my recommendation. -Nathan

Yes, you will be able to do at least 2 external displays with that computer. Basically, The Audience Displays are the Presentation aspects viewed by the Audience, and the Stage Display Screens are the ones for the band. These screens contain the Current and Next Slide of slide text, as well as Countdowns, Slide Notes etc. -Nathan R

Glad it was helpful, You could route a channel out via XLR from the X32 and into the Neve 1073, but there are internal effects that can likely provide the same effect. -Nathan
I recently started using ProPresenter, but when I press the "Audience" button, my screen goes full screen, and I can't edit anything outside of it. I've watched videos on KZread, and that doesn't happen to others. Could it be because of the new update?
Did you use multiple Apple TVs or one Apple TV?

I have a question in our church we use two computers one for OBS and other one for pro presenter. With the obs with project the cameras on the lateral screens but on the main screen we can’t put the cameras. What can I do to be able to project cameras in the main screen .
Hi, If you'd like to show cameras on the screens I'd suggest using a Hardware Video switcher such as the ATEM Mini Extreme, or the ATEM Constellation switcher. Bring in the graphics and cameras to the switcher, Then send the ATEM output to the screens. Basically, build the Live Stream Locally, then use that on the screens. Don't try to create a separate feed. If you used the constellation switcher, you could bring in ProPresenter, + cameras, then send output 1 to the side screens, and output 2 to the center screen. Now you can use a StreamDeck to switch between showing cameras, and ProPresenter on each screen being fed from the switcher. -Nathan R

Can you please help Me? I have a camera that sends a feed to a TV in a different room in the Church, for the parents to see the service. I would like them to be able to see the words to the songs and the scriptures. How Can i Get the camera feed into the computer for pro presenter 7 to use it?
I would recommend sending your stream feed to the TVs in your building, focus on building that and then send a copy to the TVs. You would need to use a BlackMagic Design Recorder 3G to get the video into ProPresenter, but the better recommendation would be to use a video switcher to bring in the video, as well as the graphics from ProPresenter7. Use an ATEM Constellation 1/ME and then send the output to the streaming encoder, or use a ATEM Extreme that has a built in streaming encoder, it also has 2 HDMI out, one for Multiview and the second for going to the TVs in the building after you convert to SDI. 😀 -Nathan
So this will allow me to mirror my iMac to my SmallHd indie 7 monitor? I'm trying to use the EL Zone system that's on my smallhd, to view movies that I stream on my iMac.
No. Mirroring is only possible for a built in display port. The Recorder 3G requires software such as ProPresenter to assign outputs.
How do you setup the looks section on your copyright slide? I don’t think that was shown clearly.
The Copyright Look is setup with the intended "copyright" slide on a Theme layer. Then when that Look is active, it will be shown on the StreamOut Layer. -Nathan R
Does this work for screen sharing from the I phone?
Yes, You can see an iPhone on the same network with the same Apple IP, with the Apple Screen sharing feature from inside ProPresenter.
It sure seems like a lot of equipment and hard to keep it in a picture frame as to how you have this all set up. by any stretch of the imagination can or do you have it all sketched out so others can use your example. you do good work. I watch your channel quite often.

Just trying to keep the people who are further out than us in the extreme rural areas hooked in with the gospel. People seem to watch small channels that are closer to home than the larger churches in the cities. IMHO. Need. to keep costs down as we ramp up tech in and out of the church building. Hello Great video! I have a problem, we click the identify buttom and the other outputs showed the mac information as it should, but we cant get rid of the information now. Do you know how to remove that identify information! Thank you!
If you click identify and the identifier does not go away, then re-start ProPresenter. I would reach out to support if that does not work, they are quick to respond and this sounds like a weird BUG I have not heard about. -Nathan
@crazyamazingdesigns we have an older Ptz camera from an unknown brand and it even has a smooth pan 😂
Although it is at risk of replacement due to it looking like we recorded the service on a potato, but luckily it isn’t used for the livestream, it is used on a legacy system that makes dvd copies of the service for shut ins
@@nathanharrellyoutube Tragic. The worst part is these cameras are not even (so cheap it does not matter). Potatoes do not make great recordings, I mentioned the image quality of these is also lacking, some of that is because they are mounted 110 ft from the stage at the end of their digital zoom LOL! -Nathan

Can you set the slideshow to run at the timing of the song so you don’t have to babysit the slides and switch?
Automating Lyrics requires some sort of Constant. That is usually some sort of Backing track that the Band is playing to. To Time the Slides to the Music, you would need to automate it to a music track. Lyric Slides are not as consistent as for Example every 7.43 seconds apart. -Nathan R
What MacBook do you currently use for Pro-presenter 7?
I currently recommend the Mac Studio Computers. They are $2K and do 5 Display Outputs including the operator screen. -Nathan R. With Macs it's more about the display count you need.
