Oh good Lord. Your TPO was over 1400? Mine was only at 318 and my symptoms are INSANE! Oh you poor girl. ❤. I wasn’t put on any meds though. My T4 is low at 0.9 which is 1/10 of a point above normal but nobody thinks that’s a problem and all my other labs are within normal ranges but not optimal ranges, but doctors do not look at that. They only look at normal ranges. The problem with that is they test thousands and thousands of healthy adults all different ages, male and female and that’s how they come up with these “normal ranges”. That is not good. It’s too broad.

My doctor has me on Armour and levothyroxine. Levothyroxine alone made me feel nauseous every single day for years. Once I added in the natural thyroid, it stopped.

I was diagnosed 10 years ago. I passed out when getting out of a bathtub and broke two bones in my foot. My TSH was 11. That was the only thing off in my bloodwork and my chiropractor ordered the blood tests for the antibodies or I still wouldn’t know about it. I did know I had “hypothyroidism” but didn’t know it was autoimmune. I’ve probably known at least 20 years at this point. I’ve had that weird joint pain in the knuckles occasionally.

I too have Hashimotos for years and did research on Iron supplements and after breakfast took 7mg of Iron supplement, followed by Nature Made multi vitamin with lunch, and for dinner extra D3(1000-3000mg), 150-250mg magnesium, fish oil and B12. Amazing combination and no inflammation, brain working and energy. The little bit of Iron alone made it all better! ❤

I suffered from breast implant illness, presenting a lot of auto immune disease symptoms, inflammation, nerve pain, muscle pain, arthritis, skin rashes. The AIP diet helped reduce the symptoms before and after I took the implants out, only now 3 months after explant am I starting to re introduce some foods

This was so helpful. I am under diagnostic for Hashimotos now, and I am 100% positive I have had it for many years. Tested tsh, anti-tpo, ft3+4 this week. In 2019 my anti tpo was 530. It explain the sudden pain in my hands and fingers, extreme fatigue, depressions, extreme muscle pain, forgetfulness, dry skin, crisp nails and hair. And hair that just won’t grow long ++++ Waiting for the results this week, and hopefully I will get levothyroxine 🙏🏻

I just found this. My cousin has this and hearing your story has given me a new understanding of how she is. This is also helping with a project I'm doing for my graphic design degree. We're supposed to come up with a health awareness ad campaign, and this is what I've chosen to do. I see the struggle my cousin and others who have it go through every day and it sucks, but she's a pretty strong person. To all who have it, stay strong and know that you got a support system from those who don't have it. 🙂♥

I've tried so many diets to help my gi issues, and its only now after working with 2 dietitians that im finally making progress. I did AIP, vegan, gluten free, soy free, low fodmap, all top 8 allergen free, food sensitivity test diets, paleo, keto, etc. Turns out i have some really weird intolerances and allergies like tomatoes and beef amongst other things. Now it makes sense as to why the diets werent working, not to mention the SIBO and Candida complications too.

Sounds like you’ve experienced some of that fabled vegan aggression.. “you were never really vegan”!! Lol. Don’t ever worry about the nasty vegans out there.. they are depressed and angry for a good reason. So how did you go with your healing journey? I am just starting after various other diets having mixed success. Try explaining to my Mum or Sister (both vegans) that many vegan fruits, veggies, nuts, legumes etc are full of anti-nutrients or problematic compounds, fibre, sugar etc that needs to be removed to aid healing a compromised GI system.. nope! A vegan diet cures everything!!! 🤦‍♂️😅

(5:39) 'I had a very very very hard time believing it was going to get better...' Thanks for saying. I'm 48 and I have faint hope but not much faith in my own ability to change, and less yet that anything will help. It seems to hard to prepare food, expensive and time consuming. I suppose it would be worth it? It's hopeful to find people who say they felt so terrible that they couldn't imagine otherwise, and now they are better, because I'm one who isn't better, yet. I dream it is possible, even if not for me, yet. I find it helpful that others are articulate about their journeys, more than I am able to be at present. You are hard to stop listening to. Intelligent, well spoken, and beautiful.

I get angry knowing that I've always had an abnormal hip to waist ratio and hypo symptoms growing up and had severe social anxiety but kept getting told I had depression and that I would "grow into my body". My sister who was a bit skinny before puberty but pretty normal had her thyroid tested due to "concerns" but I was just "round" and clearly no doctor was concerned despite my distended tummy, chronic constipation and mental issues. Being overweight really makes doctors dismiss your health concerns. When you're little it's just "not an issue" but once you're an adult all your health issues get blamed on your weight and you're seen as a hypochondriac.

Hi I appreciated this video. I have several of the issues you described and a really hard time losing weight. Many holistic practioners I turn to have pressured me to go change my vegan lifestyle. I've had a hard time giving in, I truly feel that you can get everything you need but it just may be more difficult. It angers me that they say if you don't eat grass fed beef and pigs without anything added then you will be unhealthy. However as my body had ever growing sensitivities to almost anything, I gave into eating some things. After 15 years of not eating fish I started eating wild salmon fir the benefits of omega 3 and heart health and protein. Canned tuna makes me sick so I can't eat that. After 4 years of not eating eggs I started eating them because I did food testing and did an elimination diet so eggs became a replacement. I will stop eating them eventually though. I am not healed but in a journey. I will not give into eating pigs, cows, chicken or turkeys. I feel there are many proteins you didn't discuss. I have been gluten-free and limited soy( occasionally) for many years. There is pea protein, hemp, pumkin seed, nuts, nut butter, seeds, tahini, hummusvegan Greek yogurt, beyond sausage, protein shakes, chial, spiruluna. Many low carb gluten-free ways to get protein.

Thank you for the video. Hashimoto's runs in my family. My mother and I have it; three of my female first cousins have it too. Diet plays a huge role indeed. I was able to reduce my TPO antibody count from 528 to 404 and TSH from 2.5 to 0.81 in 2 months by following a modified AIP diet (Wahls Protocol), intermittent fasting (14-16 hours) and by taking supplements (Vitamins D & C, NAC+Se+Mo, CINA 200, Coriander seed water and Milk Thistle). I don't know which of the supplements helped. But I lost 7 kgs in the process. My endocrinologist reduced my Thyroxine from 50 mcg to 37.5 mcg after seeing my test results. So, there is hope.

Hi, thank you for your testimony. I have hashimoto as well (no need to take meds for now and I hope I won’t later on), can I ask what you drink for breakfast? I know I shouldn’t be drinking soy but I take the organic and no added sugar one to go with my coffee. Thanks
