I had hemithyroidectomy. I have symptoms like fatigue ,tiredness will they go away by thyroxine tabs?
The music is so distracting. Can’t watch
I have just had my blood results and I’m panicking My tpo is 1300 and my TSH is 0.02 and my t4 is 28.6, I’m waiting for a review from my gp
Thanks for the video I diagnosed it still I don't have a doctor am lost your video help me million thanks
Oh good Lord. Your TPO was over 1400? Mine was only at 318 and my symptoms are INSANE! Oh you poor girl. ❤. I wasn’t put on any meds though. My T4 is low at 0.9 which is 1/10 of a point above normal but nobody thinks that’s a problem and all my other labs are within normal ranges but not optimal ranges, but doctors do not look at that. They only look at normal ranges. The problem with that is they test thousands and thousands of healthy adults all different ages, male and female and that’s how they come up with these “normal ranges”. That is not good. It’s too broad.
Some people have really high antibodies and they okay-and some have low antibodies and feel horrific, it just depends on the person.
@@RationalNon-conformist thanks what I have heard thanks
Thank you so much for this wonderful video You look beautiful and healthy 💕✨💫 I Just started a couple of days ago the AIP diet Yesterday I ate some pecans feeling terrible today ! Tired and fatigued I was feeling wonderful before I ate them 😣😞🥲 No more pecas for me Sending love to everyone ✨💫💓
I know 😢……….
I wonder if Hashimoto’s causes some allergies because all of a sudden since Covid my allergies have been out of control. I’m on three different allergy medications everyday.
I adjusted about a year ago to eliminate gluten and dairy, but I eat a lot of meat with veggies and fruit.
My doctor has me on Armour and levothyroxine. Levothyroxine alone made me feel nauseous every single day for years. Once I added in the natural thyroid, it stopped.
I was diagnosed 10 years ago. I passed out when getting out of a bathtub and broke two bones in my foot. My TSH was 11. That was the only thing off in my bloodwork and my chiropractor ordered the blood tests for the antibodies or I still wouldn’t know about it. I did know I had “hypothyroidism” but didn’t know it was autoimmune. I’ve probably known at least 20 years at this point. I’ve had that weird joint pain in the knuckles occasionally.
I too have Hashimotos for years and did research on Iron supplements and after breakfast took 7mg of Iron supplement, followed by Nature Made multi vitamin with lunch, and for dinner extra D3(1000-3000mg), 150-250mg magnesium, fish oil and B12. Amazing combination and no inflammation, brain working and energy. The little bit of Iron alone made it all better! ❤
My hair falling out how about your hair?
I suffered from breast implant illness, presenting a lot of auto immune disease symptoms, inflammation, nerve pain, muscle pain, arthritis, skin rashes. The AIP diet helped reduce the symptoms before and after I took the implants out, only now 3 months after explant am I starting to re introduce some foods
And it is scary that the doctor didn’t agree you should change your diet. I am positive it is possible to reduce the symptoms with a correct diet and lifestyle changes in addition to the thyroid medication!
This was so helpful. I am under diagnostic for Hashimotos now, and I am 100% positive I have had it for many years. Tested tsh, anti-tpo, ft3+4 this week. In 2019 my anti tpo was 530. It explain the sudden pain in my hands and fingers, extreme fatigue, depressions, extreme muscle pain, forgetfulness, dry skin, crisp nails and hair. And hair that just won’t grow long ++++ Waiting for the results this week, and hopefully I will get levothyroxine 🙏🏻
We are same, how about your hair now?growing?
Thanks for your story. I’m curious, what was your TSH?
Thank you for this amazing insight! As a Hashimotos symptom did you get a feeling of adrenaline running through your arms, legs and stomach?
I noticed that when I eat "vegan food" that is processed, I experience inflammation, but when I eat "whole vegan food" like fresh fruit sand veggies... less processed. I feel better.
I just found this. My cousin has this and hearing your story has given me a new understanding of how she is. This is also helping with a project I'm doing for my graphic design degree. We're supposed to come up with a health awareness ad campaign, and this is what I've chosen to do. I see the struggle my cousin and others who have it go through every day and it sucks, but she's a pretty strong person. To all who have it, stay strong and know that you got a support system from those who don't have it. 🙂♥
I've tried so many diets to help my gi issues, and its only now after working with 2 dietitians that im finally making progress. I did AIP, vegan, gluten free, soy free, low fodmap, all top 8 allergen free, food sensitivity test diets, paleo, keto, etc. Turns out i have some really weird intolerances and allergies like tomatoes and beef amongst other things. Now it makes sense as to why the diets werent working, not to mention the SIBO and Candida complications too.
Im with you...dr didnt find out..till my tsh was 150.. almost stopped me completely..so now im battling, going on...thank you for your story. Love to all of you guys🥰😇
For the vital protein beef liver, since the serving size is 4 capsules do you take them all at once?
I have hashimoto's also and we have all the same triggers. Have you read any books on hashimoto's? Authors like izabella wentz or amy myers.
I love Isabella wentz!
Sounds like you’ve experienced some of that fabled vegan aggression.. “you were never really vegan”!! Lol. Don’t ever worry about the nasty vegans out there.. they are depressed and angry for a good reason. So how did you go with your healing journey? I am just starting after various other diets having mixed success. Try explaining to my Mum or Sister (both vegans) that many vegan fruits, veggies, nuts, legumes etc are full of anti-nutrients or problematic compounds, fibre, sugar etc that needs to be removed to aid healing a compromised GI system.. nope! A vegan diet cures everything!!! 🤦♂️😅
I have had many similar conversations with people lol I eased into eating animal products again and it was a lot easier than I thought. I immediately felt better!
I’m still trying to figure out why you disappeared 😫😫😫 PLEASE COME BACK! You are the only person online with hashi i felt i related too 😂🤦🏽♀️😫🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 but i hope you are still doing well on your journey since your turn from vegan to AIP🙏🏽❤️
Right there with you. I have hypothyroid. Originally hyperthyroid, then I took the radiation pill. It's a crazy journey, I still struggle with symptoms.
(3:49) '...[finding one's individual] diet is a journey and it is hard work...' (4:50) 'thought [gastrointestinal distress] was normal.' (5:06) '[something] might be really distressing your intsetinal system.' (5:49) '...[started] to think critically about the [gastro] issues I was having.'(7:28) 'I was still having some issues... I really missed eating gluten... so I added it back into my diet...' (10:20)'I was mostly vegan for ... two years or so.' (11:05) You're supposed to cut out gluten because...' (11:20)[...eliminte soy] ... they can throw your hormones out...' (11:37) 'dairy... can be [bad] as well'
(5:39) 'I had a very very very hard time believing it was going to get better...' Thanks for saying. I'm 48 and I have faint hope but not much faith in my own ability to change, and less yet that anything will help. It seems to hard to prepare food, expensive and time consuming. I suppose it would be worth it? It's hopeful to find people who say they felt so terrible that they couldn't imagine otherwise, and now they are better, because I'm one who isn't better, yet. I dream it is possible, even if not for me, yet. I find it helpful that others are articulate about their journeys, more than I am able to be at present. You are hard to stop listening to. Intelligent, well spoken, and beautiful.
U look fantastic...I'm having health issues too and I feel alone in this battle...u are soo strong and u look beautiful and u are very intelligent woman
V r stong from othrs...... every day different simtoms.....

My issue is gotten much worse probably Severe I get out of breath with small distances also hot and excessive sweating, heart rate is rapid feel weakness and constantly tired had numbers of blood tests been to so many different specialists I feel lost
@chloflow please do some yoga poses everyday . It will cure your haahimoto thyroditis .
I don't normally eat much meat and this diet is really hard on me. I want my tofu and oatmeal back!
You’re a very sweet girl by the way. I love you and I don’t even know you lol.
Can you share the info to your dietician?
Thank you for sharing this x
I get angry knowing that I've always had an abnormal hip to waist ratio and hypo symptoms growing up and had severe social anxiety but kept getting told I had depression and that I would "grow into my body". My sister who was a bit skinny before puberty but pretty normal had her thyroid tested due to "concerns" but I was just "round" and clearly no doctor was concerned despite my distended tummy, chronic constipation and mental issues. Being overweight really makes doctors dismiss your health concerns. When you're little it's just "not an issue" but once you're an adult all your health issues get blamed on your weight and you're seen as a hypochondriac.
Thank you so much for sharing; this is super relatable. I was vegan and am now doing regular AIP. You are not alone. It's not easy but listening to our bodies is the best thing we can do. <3
I got married 10months back and was unable to conceive so i went to gynaecologist to get checked that everything is okay? And i found out that i have Hypothyroidism!!! I gained 27kg weight in 8months.... my legs used to hurt alottt and joint pain.... i always had low mood and used to cry alot.... headaches ...sleep disturbance!!! Everyone used to bodyshame me because i gained alot of weight....!!!

Hi I was diagnosed with hashimoto today i was searching the youtube to find what is it exactly and what should I do , seems like its not fatal :D but it will be with me till my last day and its sucks ! does it change your life style ? is it dangerous if we don't take the pills regurerly ?
Everything is just SO familiar. Been watching a lot of these videos and I just relate SO much. It’s been over 4 years of trying to figure out what is the heck is going on with me. And now I’m almost certain I have this. Or at least SOME type of auto immune disease. Thank you 🙏
Why 4 years? A thyroid antibody test will tell you if you have it straight away.
Hi I appreciated this video. I have several of the issues you described and a really hard time losing weight. Many holistic practioners I turn to have pressured me to go change my vegan lifestyle. I've had a hard time giving in, I truly feel that you can get everything you need but it just may be more difficult. It angers me that they say if you don't eat grass fed beef and pigs without anything added then you will be unhealthy. However as my body had ever growing sensitivities to almost anything, I gave into eating some things. After 15 years of not eating fish I started eating wild salmon fir the benefits of omega 3 and heart health and protein. Canned tuna makes me sick so I can't eat that. After 4 years of not eating eggs I started eating them because I did food testing and did an elimination diet so eggs became a replacement. I will stop eating them eventually though. I am not healed but in a journey. I will not give into eating pigs, cows, chicken or turkeys. I feel there are many proteins you didn't discuss. I have been gluten-free and limited soy( occasionally) for many years. There is pea protein, hemp, pumkin seed, nuts, nut butter, seeds, tahini, hummusvegan Greek yogurt, beyond sausage, protein shakes, chial, spiruluna. Many low carb gluten-free ways to get protein.
Thank you for this post. I have to eat lower carb die to health complications, and I really hate eating tons of meat. I've said as much as I've always loved carbs, so you've given me several new foods to incorporate into my diet.
Thank you for the video. Hashimoto's runs in my family. My mother and I have it; three of my female first cousins have it too. Diet plays a huge role indeed. I was able to reduce my TPO antibody count from 528 to 404 and TSH from 2.5 to 0.81 in 2 months by following a modified AIP diet (Wahls Protocol), intermittent fasting (14-16 hours) and by taking supplements (Vitamins D & C, NAC+Se+Mo, CINA 200, Coriander seed water and Milk Thistle). I don't know which of the supplements helped. But I lost 7 kgs in the process. My endocrinologist reduced my Thyroxine from 50 mcg to 37.5 mcg after seeing my test results. So, there is hope.
Hi, thank you for your testimony. I have hashimoto as well (no need to take meds for now and I hope I won’t later on), can I ask what you drink for breakfast? I know I shouldn’t be drinking soy but I take the organic and no added sugar one to go with my coffee. Thanks
