Slide of hand he change the envelope
@Mike-we3rbАй бұрын
He shows himself putting the plates into the envelopes. And he takes extra time with the regular plate. And watch him put it on the envelope. The way his hands move doesn’t add up to the plate going into the envelope. Hes putting it behind the envelope and there’s already a 4th plate with a hole in it. He holds onto the plate till the end. The only problem with this is I never see when he puts it in the envelope. Also he never rips opens the envelope which is strange but maybe just cuz it’s over. Or the machine is modifiable. Aka the round thing in the middle he kept touching between 2nd and 3rd card
@waterfoker8558Ай бұрын
i got the trick. The plates are gimmicked. Theres a panel that slides to cover or reveal the hole. He just has to tilt the panel
@waterfoker8558Ай бұрын
uh this is easy to figure out... He switched the steel with the hole, then he "mentslist" by choosing the steel out right and choosing the hole that allison thinks, implant the obvious. He makes up a story to avoid the hole.

Had I watched this trick at the time it was out... I would be here writing praises on how great a trick is... But now that I am also periodically watching the new host of the show per youTubes recommendations: I have to especially ALSO praise how perfect it was to be doing it with Alison. And how she fit this role beautifully. I am sure that someone s brilliant as you would have tailored your routine to fit the new host just as well; but here: she fit all TOO well. Very well played... GREAT trick!

I've watched this a few times and I know exactly how he's done it. Don't keep reading if you don't want spoilers. Danny is actually a time traveler. He's able to experience each of the outcomes and has lost his eye to the trick several times. Each time he fails, he travels back in time to before he was impaled and tries again. Once he succeeds, he remains in that timeline. It's a seamless transition so nobody in the audience or at home can perceive when he makes a time leap. Very impressive trick, but unfortunately you can spot a temporal anomaly (caused by the tearing of the space-time fabric) at 7:41. Hope this helped!!

If I were to do that, I would try to have some sort of magnetic sensor under the table that can detect the solid plate 🤔
@abhaybehera44645 ай бұрын
I might be completely wrong and I highly doubt this is actually how the trick is performed but when you asked allyson to pick she slammed her hands on the envelope to feel if there was a hole and im guessing a lot of other participants would do that. If they don't you can also check the envelope and bail out last second if they picked the wrong one so you're never in danger.

Bit of Darren Brown here. In round one he pulls two envelopes moves his hand over them and says "its one of". He then eliminates the one Alice believes it is. In round two he says "point to 1" whilst pointing to the one she should choose. She ofcourse chooses 1. Having already programmed her in round 1 she finally chooses the correct one. Tada!

Brian brushwood does this with a knife and stabs himself, that’s how he got famous in the early days of KZread, I still have no idea how this is done. I know the producers won’t allow anything actually dangerous on the show…I’m sure the machine actually won’t poke you eye out if it does hit it..ai love it!

Slightly bothered that the last plate was not revealed out of the envelope. If I had to take a guess, I'd probably say that there's some slight of hand going on but I can't see where or when.

God... this is so cringy. The woman is so unconfortable... and all in the name of cheap entertainment and laughs. This is horrible magic. The plates are just fake, the handling and everything is so obvious. Penn and Teller pretending to think the machine is a gimmick... so obvious and cringy. And poor woman, no wonder she left the show.

I wasn't fooled with this one. Obviously, the 3 metal plates with the hole are lighter than the one without the hole. They could also be of different thicknesses. I don't know how Penn and Teller wouldn't spot this immediately. There was no mystery for me at all in this trick.
