This channel exists for two reasons: practice/talk about my passion and to pay it forward!

Opportunities in geoscience were unknown to me until I was already in college. Why didn’t I learn about this field sooner? Rising through an under-serviced school district undoubtedly played a role in my ignorance of STEM opportunities.

But that question stayed with me after completing my graduate studies and especially after entering the corporate world where female, Hispanic geologists were far and few between.

Geoscience and remote sensing are my passions and I want to help others “discover” Earth Science and the many opportunities within it.
