  @nehachandpa, ye water (paani) k hardness pe depend karta hai. Agar Paani exceptionally hard nahi hai to aap water softener use kare. Lekin bohat zyada hard hai 1000 ppm se zyada to phir water conditioner lagwalen.

  @sadvik, thanks for your appreciation. Yes you can use RO water for face wash but remember that we must use water judiciously knowing the scarcity. About the water filter you asked, yes it is good but only for 3 to 6 months depending upon how hard the water is. Though it cannot be completed to a water softener but still it's good to have if you don't have other options for any reason.

  Very clear explanation. I have few queries. In my building(newly constructed) there are 10 Flats with 10 owners including me. We want a new Manjeera water connection for the building. 1st ques: My building comes under Category I or Category II 2nd ques: do every owner need to submit the application with own documents or only one owner has to submit? 3rd ques : Approximately after how many days we can expect a call form HMWSSB , once we submit the application.
