    It's nice to see someone who truly appreciates Teen Top reacts to them. Teen top relesed albums at least once every year till 2020 and all of their songs were very good. Unfortunately they lost popularity after LJoe left and they kind of lost faith in music industry. In 2020 they released remake of To You and released a fan song called Pancake before joining military.But as their 1oth year performance on a music show got viral due to their perfect live vocals they got invited to more and more shows but they were already preparing for their leave and hiatus so first ChunJi then other members left for military.and also CoViD happened. Then last year Yoo Jaesok's program made their song To You viral and everyone was challenging the footwork dance. The company wanted to ride the popularity wave and pushed them to release a new album and they did so many challenges, went to shows and youtube channels without proper time to get ready. People who didn't even care about them started to comment on them.CAP couldn't handle the pressure. He said he didn't wanna live the idol life anymore and left. Too bad fans voted Missing and Missing You as most wanted songs in dingo just to hear his rap but he was gone.

    13:51 Yes, after Sauna you should wash yourself. You may use sponges or brushes (with soap) to scrub your skin. After Sauna, that dead skin layer is soft and will get washed easily. So Sauna + Wash combination is not only for relaxation, but also it is for healthier skin and clean

    Few things that video did not tell: - Normal temperature in Finnish sauna is somewhere between +80C to +100C - People should be naked in sauna (there is exceptions if full nudity is not fine, like guests or cameras like here) - Washing before going to Sauna is important, and that's why clothes/bathing suites are not ok, there could be bacteria in it that transmits - When using public sauna, or you are guest, one usually uses 'pefletti', something to sit on (or even towel if nothing else). Finland is happiest country in world, for fifth year ... Maybe because of Sauna?

    The whisking have a lot health benefits. It's revival blood circulation, relieve stress, and it feels good. The sauna whisk is made birch at right early summer, when birch trees get full leaves. Some people even make them a lot, and restore them in freezer to use them around winter.

    Too often foreigners are given the wrong idea about the function of a sauna. The sauna was not originally a place of entertainment. It was a place, the only place where you can wash when it's 20 degrees below zero outside and showers with warm water hadn't been invented yet.

    For the EBU to have disqualified anybody.. It must have been bad.

    Honestly, I don't know. It would be very easy to release the security footage to dispell all the rumors and doubts against their decision, but they're being intentionally vague and closed lipped while the Dutch broadcaster has continued to say the disqualification is disproportionate, that they would be filing complaints, etc. I think, even if they were justified, they've had a PR disaster on how it should've been handled.

    I find it interesting that not a single search in Swedish media says anything about Loreen (Lor-eeehhhn) saying what she said. Not even the more degraded news outlets mention this. Grain of salt, perhaps. I did find conflicting info about a duet with Johnny Logan. A degraded news outlet claims one thing, her team claims something else.

    Sienna - how sorry I couldn't have joined you. The Israel vote was orchestrated this year. People from the Israeli/Jewish diaspora with no interest at all in the contest uploaded the app and voted multiple times. Those opposing Israel's participation boycotted the contest and declined to vote. In hindsight, the lack of those votes gave Israel a free run in the televote.

It's Sienna Reacts- Movies & TV (very on the nose, I know 😅) Also, yes! I saw that in some countries they were even running ads asking people to vote. And the embassies in a bunch of countries were posting about it 🥴 If there hadn't been such solidarity from the jury around Nemo, it would've been a much different result

    8:20 i agree, it doesn't make sense they involved the police if it was only verbal. Only 2 options i can think is, if Joost said something like "im going to k!ll you" or something in a verbal way that could be taken as a threat. Another is that if Joost pushed the camara towards the person, which injured the person.

  • @siennaxeurovision
    @siennaxeurovision2 ай бұрын

    Yes. The statement was VERY specific in that Joost didn't touch the camera person, not that he didn't make any contact with anyone/anything. I'm hoping more will come out. There's absolutely security footage of the incident somewhere. I hope they release it, but I doubt they would. Especially, if it shows him trying to get away and she keeps pursuing 😕

    Based on the statement by Avrotros and NPO. There was a camera person who continued following Joost and recording after he'd stated he did not want to be followed. This situation is really awkward and stressful for everyone I think. I'm just confused and it seems super weird, the only things we know are the official news obviously. Personally, I'm just so tired of all this drama at this point. If I just look at the songs, I love this Eurovision year but hooooooly moly, I'm so done with the stress it's giving me. However, I'm still excited for later and I'll just enjoy it as much as I can. I found myself enjoying songs I didn't really love before the contest and that's the side of Eurovision that I love and even though a lot is happening, we should still be able to somehow feel united by music. (Tho ngl their crisis meeting is giving me 2020 flashbacks...) I totally agree that the whole situation is just confusing and wild. The EBU has definitely made some mistakes and instead of preventing drama and stressed they literally poured water into already hot oil. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! Since Eurovision is burning we should just let Georgia win, so they can put out the fire by dancing lmao

  • @siennaxeurovision
    @siennaxeurovision2 ай бұрын

    Absolutely. There are far, far better ways to handle the situation. AVROTROS released a statement saying that it was basically an overzealous camera person who wouldn't take no for an answer, and Joost responded, albeit poorly. I'm just at a loss how they've allowed this situation to balloon into such a mess. 😮‍💨 It's totally and completely unnecessary

    Personally I felt this years' semis were far easier to predict than the previous two years. A few comments. Loved Malta's performance but suffered by being too similar to SloMo, but mainly running order. So many girly bops with male backing dancers in this semi and those that were latest in the memory unsurprisingly held out. Greece - the "line dancing" was basically a syrtaki, a traditionally Greek dance in which they wave handkerchiefs. Variants of this dance can be found throughout the Balkans and the near-Middle East. Switzerland's performance has a place secured in ESC legend. Odd that you say you weren't wowed by Czechia but then say Aiko was robbed... BTW, it's pronounced Check-ia, not Chech-ia ;) France was great but didn't like him starting by lying down and kneeling, it affected his breathing. Denmark - why was she standing on a table? Did the same at the NF. Why? Latvia - one word "Shock". Spain has a big meaning behind the song which is completely lost on a casual on-Spanish speaking viewer. Belgium - failed vocals. I bet you wish Mom was still chatting with you during Israel ;) Yes, she got booed but the EBU has non-booing technology, and yes, Eric Saade is Palestinian, a former Swedish contestant. He was one of the interval acts and wore a keffiyeh on his wrist. Absolutely, the EBU did not handle this correctly. If you check your news, Netherlands might be disqualified following the semi-final winners press conference. This could get even messier if other contestants choose to side with Joost Klein.

    Also, I agree. The Slomo similarities are just too strong and recent. I still don't think she did bad, and if not for the Slomo call back, she would have definitely moved on to the Grand Final. And that's interesting! In Lebanon, it's called Dabke, iirc. Usually, it's a male led dance, so I thought it was cool a woman was leading. But it's even cooler learning that there are Greek dancers that are similar! Thank you for letting me know! Switzerland had a wonderful performance! I actually went back and watched it again. It's simple while being symbolic. I appreciated the performance! For Czechia, I think my reasoning is that I don't think things have to cater to my taste to be worthy of moving on 🤔 Pedestal is like Fighter from Semifinal 1 in my opinion (and Fighter an even worse offender). I can sit here and say that the singers didn't work on cardio enough to be able to move around stage comfortably without losing breath support, and I think the performances suffer because of it. But, objectively, if others aren't as picky as me, they would find the performance enjoyable. It's a question of what did Fighter do that Pedestal didn't 🤔 Though I do think the horrible first performance for Pedestal kept it off of peoples' radars, unfortunately. I agree about Denmark. It was just too empty (both musically and stage-wise). Latvia...just no words. I think everyone was shocked. Lol I will have to look up the lyrics for Spain prior to tomorrow then! Belgium, I honestly didn't think the vocals were that bad? Is the video they uploaded to KZread the same as the live version? I admit he definitely had shaky parts and I still have my same issues with the ending, but I still find it hard to imagine it's literally a DNQ. Israel....yikes. No one is handling it correctly. There's bots in a bunch of people's comments and on Twitter. These major Eurovision sites are literally radio silent about it. It's a mess 😮‍💨 And, apparently, the issue with the Netherlands is because of Israel as well (he'd asked them not to take photos). And there's rude press about/against Bambi?? I just went on the Eurovision subreddit and it's kinda confusing what's going on. There's a post with around 300 responses trying to keep up with everything. And, apparently, they've canceled the Big 5 + Sweden press conference? It's 😬😬😬😬😬

I don't really hear anything about what's happening with Eurovision unless I search it up myself, so I miss quite a lot 😂

    @@siennaxeurovision Re:Spain. the word Zorra is the feminine of the word Zorro. Y'now, like "Zorro, the gay blade" - a man who is cavalier, brave, adventurous. When the word is changed to the feminine it describes a woman as a "sl*t". Get the "me too" vibes. An older woman on stage, but this time it's the male backing dancers who are used as the click bait... Joost Klein has been suspended from rehearsals - during the qualifiers press conference a journalist asked the Israeli delegation on their thought of possibly endangering and causing risk to other contestants. The moderator told Israel they were free to refuse to answer the question. Joost Klein asked back "Why not?".

The riffs on the last part are actually really similar to the ones I did haha. But I didn't sing the "before the party is over" part 8 times, but instead held the 5th for like 12 seconds and them one smooth last one. It would elevate the song so much. This is actually my favourite entry this year! However, I see why this performance might be disappointing. She definitely improved in future pre parties (except for London, she was sick there tho). I think the official MV does elevate the song a lot, I just hope they will use elements from it for the staging because it's wayyy more interesting than "Happy song :D". There was another fan favourite (WITCH-ER Tarohoro by Justyna Steczkowska) in the selection and a lot of people were mad Luna won (with 1 more point than the fan favourite lol). Personally, idk why, but I really love this song. I totally agree it's generic but for some reason it works for me. Btw random, but I love the fact you always give a small applause!

    There is very little Latin American music in this song, perhaps just in the passage where he says "cumbia... ballo la cumbia...". For the rest it is an alternation of Salento Taranta with the typical melody of the Neapolitan song and a bit of rap in between.

    Thank you for your reaction! Angelina is Italian born and raised in Italy. The song is autobiographical and la noia means boredom even though Angelina is not necessarily meaning it as lack of fun but more like anxiety, depression: she uses a metaphor in the song that she wears proudly the pearl necklace she's been given as a young girl that is not made of wisdom pearls but of small coloured ones like those for little traumatized girls, she says people expect her to be sad and they look at her in a bad way if she says she's ok so she answers life is hard and everybody is ok with that answer. In reality Angelina is daughter of a popular Italian singer who had a heart attack while performing on stage and died soon after when she was 13.. She was in the audience and of course it was atrocious for her however her personality is to accept the good and the bad of life choosing nof to succumb to pain but accept the lows as times to grow up. That's what she talks about in the song that she doesn't want to be sad and when "la noia approaches" she dances a cumbia to chase off the sadness and negative thoughts.. So she says "a crown of thorns will be the dresscode for my party".. accepting the pain and celebrating life anyway. Angelina is 22, she's the daughter of 2 popular Italian singers her father also a songwriter of many hits for popular artists in the 80/90s, her brother also a musician is the drummer in her band and collaborates with her in writing her music. She's been performing on stage since she was a little girl and I think it shows in the confidence and spontaneiity while performing. The video was not her best performance out of the 3 in Sanremo festival this year, it's not clear why Rai, the national broadcaster choose to upload this specific video where she's a litle out of breath that she didn't have in the other performances and usualy don't have. By the way, even though this rhythmn is inspired by cumbia which is african/latin music/dance also folk music from Southern Italy is very rhythmic and the sounds of many instruments here recalls Italian sounds, her singing style as well is very typical of Southern Italy (as you find in "Notte della taranta" and "pizzica salentina")😊
